Nationwide flex a/c card works fine, but casino cashpoints tend to charge 3 or 4 dollars commision, but you do get the official bank rate on it.
the public ones charge $3-4 but the ones in the casino charge massive amounts, can be up to 10% on smaller withdrawals

Off out for my 9th Vegas trip on 31 May Flying with Virgin ( economy out, premium economy back ) 3 nights in the Golden Nugget followed by 10 nights in a suite at the Platinum works out at about £1200 each The platinum looks superb , suites for about 90-100 quid a night, good quality and a 10 min walk to the junstion of Flamingo and the strip ( we usually saty ta the Bellagio and it takes longer than 10 mins from your room to the strip there ) only dowber is thatw e did have business class flights with Maxjet booked ate only £125 each more than the virgin flight till Maxjet went bust

Re hotels I use the Park Plaza on maid marion way , not walking distance but only £4-5 in a taxi It's a decentish 4* hotel Now the good bit, if you go on lastminute.com and select the 4* mystery hotel ( the one listed as 20yds from tales of Robin Hood ) you get the PP but for a cheaper rate ( usually £57 for a Saturday night ) also park in the St James car park across the road, take your ticket with you and give it to the receptionist when you check in, they run it through a machine which gets you about 5 quid off the car park charge oh and there is a Weatherspoon pub round the corner for a decent 3 quid brekkie Don't say I don't look after you folks

What time are the main tournaments finshing now, I will be bringing a group of 15-20 in January and would like to have some idea what time to arrange transport for ?
I played an early £100 one and was 5am when I went out, the new structure seems better but I haven't been around late enough to see the finish time

We have 2 trips booked at the moment , we go a couple of times a year and normally stay in the Bellagio but have changed the next 2
going boxing day for 4 nights , doing this one on the cheap, Virgin economy ( £280 each ) and 4 nights at Bills ( Barbary Coast ) at 60 quid a night
then on 31 May for 14 nights, Maxjet business class at £773 each ( if they dont go bust by then ) and staying at Platinum hotel ( new all suite place 10 mins walk from centre of strip , prices are amazing for what you get ) , hotel is $193 a night
