I can't answer that for Sean.

But at some stage in your life Alex you will have to do the same, and I don't mean that in a condescending way btw

Also think about what you're going into - dealing 50/1 and bowl freezeouts in Genting is just going to be immensely frustrating, mind numbing and boring. No offence meant to the guys that work there - Richard is a great guy and working with him and the other ex DTD lot will be fun at times I'm sure. But remember how you felt about dealing at DTD a year ago? You'll have to work certain hours, you'll be on basically minimum wage and you just won't feel as good about yourself. Don't tell me it doesn't feel great walking into DTD everyday as a pro, playing the biggest game in the building, crushing it and winning a months wages in a night?

Coughs lol, seriously it is nothing like DTD we had a glitch about a month ago but all the dealers like working there and they feel like its their cardroom. Nothing is stopping him playing the biggest game in DTD and crushing it, but probably a good idea to 100% be able to live and use his roll to play with knowing that the bills will get paid if the downswings start to hurt.

Lol, I only used no limit as an example, as it is easier to understand. Of course it is the same with pot limit, just trying to simplify.

In no limit, the original raiser has already had the option of betting what they want, and no-one has challenged that bet by re-opening the betting with a full raise.

The answer to the OP's question IMO is a yes.
From what I understand a tax is going to be imposed at "point of sale" for UK players to offshore companies that enjoy tax breaks and havens. They will not like this and it is going to be one big ball ache to implement. If it is going to cost them money you can be assured the cost will be passed on to the customer.

FFS lol, pm me the supervisors name please. They have been told that people shouldn't be talking about their hands full stop, but they should never kill a hand in that situation unless they suspect foul play. BTW we can't mention the R word on blonde Wink

Genting too as i discovered a few weeks ago. Perhaps they are all correct with that ruling. Much pondering to be done before the rules meeting next week

TD's discretion, sometimes a good 2 hour face pounding is warranted.

I've told you before its -EV to go all-in with the nuts

This is the problem with poker rules.  There needs to be consistency.

Totally agree, I shall write to Matt Savage and ask him to include at the next TDA summit for discussion, but for the meantime as long as the dealer is in pain then it suffices.

PMSL ty JK Smiley but DTD's rules page has changed a little by the looks so somethings may be different.

But yes even if there has been action as a new hand has technically not started until the first riffle. Say for instance a dealer sits down with a new set up, a player notices they haven't been shuffled, he now knows everyones hand and what the board is going to run lol, the dealer will only clock on when the board is dealt so significant action would have taken place, the hand would have to be voided and there should be 2 minutes grace for the TD to kick shit out of the dealer Smiley

Yeah Rich. His words were pretty much, "In cash its the players money and the players time. They can pretty much do anything apart from the obvious, i.e string bet and what not"

He also taught us that DEALERS can call clock. It was pretty embarrasing when I did it. But a few on my old training course can back that up as I asked around.

Get out of town, no way did he do this .... we spoke about it many times and we both face palmed when it was done. I am not calling you a liar btw but maybe you misheard :/
