Ridiculous scenes.

Wonder if Denise will be imposing a Rule 4 here? They have recent form for it after all.

@PTBooms knew!

Poker players are known for their honesty, should be fine.

Wonder if they can keep hold of CFM?

He still strikes me as the missing piece of Moyes' puzzle.

Major result making the PL though. Enjoy the ride.

Covid year, no more Jon Ola Sand and two of the big Five at the head of the market = carnage.

Anyone who's backed our Swiss hero, with his dad dancing and Simon Cowell trousers, should be able to bail IR if they want to. I'd be pretty sure he won SF2, and did so mainly thanks to jury votes.

The De Bruyne money isn't going away. Sky the only ones with prices now and they're 10-11 each of two with Dias. Similar story on the machine.

That was the Football Writers' Award that Dias won this morning. The big one (PFA) is announced early June.

Nah, there must have been more behind it than that tweet. The collapse started before half seven for one thing.

I know the voting has been going on but don't know if it's finished.

Be amazing if he won it. Gunda-1 or Dias would deserve it more among the City players. KDB has been patchy compared to last season and missed a chunk through injury too.

This guy is way too good for the ESC. Needs a barbers though.

La Suisse douze points. Anything over 5-1 is fine.

Things are not going well here. Should've let him stay sat at the piano. He can't dance.

The market has been very swingy this year, though, and it's far from done yet.

Otherwise, KDB was 16+ for PFA POTY yesterday morning for as much as you like. By last night he was being done for decent money at odds-on and all the Fodds boys had pulled the market.

Amazing that, more than 20 years after Betfair came along, a random tweet can lead to this sort of timber. Can still lay sub 3 too I'd have thought.

The winner is being announced 4 June and the shortlist revealed a few days before that.

Chelsea have pulled out apparently. That'll be that then.

Ooh, so close. It's all in the timing.

Chunky ban to follow no doubt and Champ App chances gone.

Guess that's why Willie pulled their prices.

All aboard the Ghiani express, woo woo!

Sure thing.

We'll get Hills this way instead. Better bet if anything.

There's never been a more open jockeys' championship race and I don't see anyone running away with it. Buick is trying by all accounts, as are Oisin and Curtis. I can't have Curtis at all though.

WH were biggest price Marquand in the outrights at 10-1, which was double the next best, when they framed their handicap. Since then they've cut him to 7-1 (there is no each-way betting despite what it says on the website).

I'd have him as about co-favourite of three with Oisin and Buick, with Hollie just behind and Curtis behind her.

+35 is ridiculous about a potential champion who's going all out for it after a winter abroad. He's getting 15 start from his bird ffs.

There are some dangerous floaters below like Stott and McDonald, but this is a rick, so £50EW @ 12-1 please. Best be quick before they pull the market though.

Never going to happen is it?

Jose won't be taking Spurs there either way.

I'm with Ollie.

Ian Holloway has just said this Super league business is a betrayal to the memory of Prince Philip. I’m not even fucking joking.

You were looking in the right place...they've pulled it!

Marco Ghiani, top apprentice jockey, 8-1 Hills, fifth three places. £50EW please. Try and get this thread rolling again.

Jockeys lose their claim after 95 winners. Ghiani is now on 67 and will be on around 70 when the championship season starts on 1 May. That means he'll be able to ride 25 or so more winners before losing his 3lb allowance.

At that point he'll have to decide whether to stay listed as an apprentice for the rest of the season or turn pro. Last season Fallon decided to stay as an apprentice so he could win a second title on the spin. I suspect that Ghiani, given he'd only ridden a couple of winners at the start of 2020, will do the same, rather than risk turning pro and dropping straight off the radar. That happens a lot.

Three winners from 23 rides in the past fortnight is about what we can expect from him all summer. He's based with Stuart Williams but gets used by all sorts of Newmarket yards, including Varian and Hugo Palmer.

Benoit de la Sayette makes the market here at 4-5. He's either a certainty or a no-hoper, depending what Gosden wants to do with him. This is Gosden's first apprentice for donkeys years. The timing coincides with Thady becoming joint trainer and it may have been son's idea.

BDLS rode the Lincoln winner and I suspect Gozzer will want to keep his 7lb in tact for big handicaps throughout the season. In that case it's hard to see him going to Newcastle on a Friday evening for six rides. Especially as he needed his old man to drive him up to Doncaster.

So far this year he's ridden 11 winners from 44 rides for a level-stakes loss, which shows he's getting put up on plenty of shorties. He'll drop from 7lb to 5lb after 20 winners (rode one last year, so 12 total), and from 5lb to 3lb after 50.

Only Gosden knows if he'll become champion apprentice, but this is all about the place part. Unless Ghiani turns pro or gets injured he's not going to be out of the top three. And the win part is way live. Some of the pricing further down is bizarre. 14-1 Finley Marsh needs no comment, 20-1 Dobie is laughable.
