then at 300-600 i make it 2525 with 88 from utg, compo calls, and the BB who has never played poker live before calls aswell.
Hold on, I'm lost. Compo was the BB? Sounds like him, shoving 25k into a pot of 8k with top pair no kicker. WP sir.

At my first table last night I was sandwiched between the comedy genius that is Woodley, a guy who had aces twice, kings once and queens once in the first two levels, and Bingo. Just had to sit there doing nothing but never boring.

Sure you're right, Joe's Wash will almost certainly win it but I do reckon there's some mileage here. Perhaps back Dollar man at 10 and also back Joe at twos on to cover the stake? Nicola Maclean almost shares a name with Aaron McLean and is the fiance of Posh's gobshite left-back Tom Williams, so I can't have anything bad said about her please. But you're right, she is infatuated with tits and something of a disgrace.

Haven't watched this series - reality TV is finished imo - but read this morning that an ITV insider has been quoted as saying 'David van Day has been miles ahead in the phone voting the last few days' or something like that. I remember seeing this guy in another reality TV thing and he came across as a complete nob. However, am I missing a trick by not backing him at 8-1+ for this?

The £3k buy-in has attracted the creme of the English and Irish pros and there are some juicy tables out there. The first table greeting us as we made the circuitous journey from the Vic Press Room was that containing double GUKPT-winner Julian Thew, Liam "The Gentleman" Flood, Stuart "Foxy" Fox and EPT Supremo John Duthie, who has put no less than 7 people on AQ or pocket Tens so far. Not to be outdone, their neighbouring table has a ring of star quality to it boasting such players as seasoned pro "Maltese" Joe Grech, Simon "Aces" Trumper, Ali "Any Two" Mallu, Rob Garfield. Only James "Flushy" Dempsey, fresh from an unsuccessful tilt at the CPC is letting the table down in terms of celebrity. I jest of course. It's been quite a year for Flushy so far and if he can translate some of his online form into live success, he will be a threat for the title. Already two of the players on this table have clashed. More on this shortly... Apparently Rob Garfield is not playing today. This must be a lasagne-munching imposter
