Later stages of a tournrmant, final two tables, blinds are 800-1600, you have 13000.
You're UTG on a full table and look at AJ suited, what's the best move?

"Friday afternoon I nervously post for staking...and was surprised to sell out in record time.."

Surely someone has taken longer than 1hr13mins to sell out in the past?

Mildly amusing in general terms but a career best for Dulux imo. Don't tell him he's funny ffs, we'll never hear the end of it

Read & weep. Sorry Dean, could not resist.

Anti-Flame defences may be required once his Chompyness sees this.

Modest too, didn't mention his £750 win at Luton early in the year. Always a pleasing trait in a poker player.

He never wrote it - snoops did. snoops knows his stuff!

I wrote it! Chompy need only ask, as the Sicilian did, and I will write his!

Go for it Tighty, use as much of my copy as you like. Or just copy and paste it, might be easier

I sent Snoopy mine a couple of days ago but the lazy sod hasn't put it up yet. Here it is...

A player since 2001 and multi dimensional since 2006, Graham Wheldon is widely regarded as the best Hold'Em tournament player in Luton.
Three cashes from a handful of WSOP starts over the past two years have marked him down as one of the hottest prospects in the country and that elusive first bracelet is surely coming, it's just a question of when and then how many.

Flushy took the other 49% apparently

I've just had Nick Slade on the phone, almost in tears and livid about you again claiming a win the £750. He said something about ranking points and more solicitors' bills on their way or some such

I'll take 1% for £2.90. I feel this is fair.

Nope, never gone through LA before, apart from that time the shrewd travel agent sent me from Nashville to Las Vegas via LA and...Palm Springs! FFS
Been through Chicago, San Francisco, New York, Washington and Denver. Washington is usually the worst but have always made the connection, which has always been within two hours. Is LA that much worse?
9553  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Help with Going to Vegas in a couple of weeks with the Mrs on: October 03, 2008, 10:50:21 AM
I reckon 1h45mins should be fine. I had 1h35mins in Washington next month and have done similar a couple of times. You'd be unlucky not to make it imo.
That said I only ever take hand luggage and I wouldn't know whether they'll be able to turn round proper luggage in time. Perhaps suggest to the missus she only takes one outfit in order to cut down the amount of luggage. Good luck with that project.

122% is very fair for a poker book in my experiece. You'll never get a 100% book for one on the exchanges because there's just not enough liquidity.
The RP price up at +2% for every horse as a rule of thumb, so 116% for an 8-runner race, 122% for 11 runners, etc

Just to tease the girlies, look at this beauty.

Interesting colour, & those knobbly tyres are a refinement, probably added as an extra, & not original equipment.

Now that's a great gas bottle sack barrow.

It's hard to ever remember seeing a better example, EVER. Absolute perfection.

Let me guess...you're single? Am I right?  Roll Eyes

Ding, if you can't appreciate this MDSB for the thing of beauty that it clearly is, I feel for you, I truly do.
There's also a multi-dimensional green wheelie bin near the skip in the G Luton car park that's as close to a perfect model as I have ever seen. If I remember to take my camera on Wednesday I'll get some shots for sure...
