The Sicilian texted me to say 11 days is his best. Something about a well-used white and green hooped shirt being in the corner of the room

Well done from me too by the way. Was tracking your progress in the WSOP event in which you finished 18th as well. Another pleasing run. See you in Luton next month.

Fair play for pricing it up but not sure a 148% over-round book on a bunch of unknowns will attract a lot of business. That said, given the prices look overly compressed, there's probably some mileage in backing the four big stacks each-way, first four.

Im gonna lobby a few bookies to run in-play betting on the ME next year, the amount of big names in the field this year has proven what an active market this could be. Betfair could have put one up without any hassle methinks.
The final table betting is going to be huge methinks.

(ive got a blog about betting on poker me)

Think you'll do well to get anyone to price up the ME beforehand, especially as 'any other' would be about fours on imo.
Betfair are almost certain to price up the final table within the next week or so I'd have thought but don't think the liquidity will be great myself.
Can't see the fixed odds boys ever coming in until poker gets covered in the Racing Post, something I'm chipping away at at the moment but not getting far with in truth.
Blue Square price up the GUKPTs but haven't seen anything on the Vegas stuff. Just as well, as I'd have done my money on Mark Vos.

Outstandingly funny work Jeeves, one of the most amusing things I've read in a long time.

Rofl, you think I'm worried about Peter Costa having last night seen off the likes of Nevster, MikeOxard and Bull-Dozer? Bring him on I say.
Me too, good luck to Kevin O'Leary.

That's nothing, I ploughed through 150-odd runners to finish second in the Velocity last night. I plan to reinvest my profits in tonight's Five-O.

Has anyone ever seen Rob Garfield and Paul Jackson in the same room together? Hmm, I wonder.
Keep an eye out for under-rated Lutonian Paul Ephremsen, who's currently sat with around 180,000 chips. He's quite capable of turning them into a monster stack in double-quick time, or doing in the lot.

Three different photos of Rob Garfield smiling? Masterful camera work imo

As long as I get my 10% of the saver, I'll be happy. Not interested how you got there, just cough it up please...

Some outstanding work here Jeeves, you should write a sitcom or something.

I followed Hevad Khan out of the Rio, walking to the taxi rank one day last month, and that experience put me off the idea of playing the ME forever.
A cab containing four loud, young Americans, aka 'Dumbasses', pulled up. "F**k guys, it's Haved f**king Khan. Hey man, can we have a photo?"
I would hate that. I hate the idea of being recognised full stop.

One of the young internet dudes I crossed swords with in Vegas last month plays under the name 'Pearljammer' online. All he ever listens to is Pearl Jam and there's nothing wrong with that. A fine band.
If Pearl Jam 'floats your boat', you might want to check out the following tracks, it doesn't get much better:
No One Knows, Queens Of The Stone Age
Cochise, Audioslave
Stacked Actors, Foo Fighters
