On the day that Newton-John’s death was reported, her Grease co-star John Travolta shared a message dedicated to her honor. “My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better. Your impact was incredible. I love you so much. We will see you down the road and we will all be together again. Yours from the first moment I saw you and forever! Your Danny, your John!” he wrote on Instagram. https://youtu.be/WvOWox2o5cUI've watched Grease more times than I can remember. They played Summer Nights at my 40th and I remember within a minute all the boys and girls there split up into 2 opposing sides belting it out to each other, such fun!

Hi Shaz, 1% for supernova 1% for Newport Lad Both BOOKED. Sent 24.60 ref WSOP Shaz glglgl If i ever become social again I'd love a catch up! RECEIVED. Isn't Online Banking a thing of beauty? You sent it minutes ago, & I have it already. We used to send someone a cheque, pop it in the letter-box, they'd get it two days later, then have to visit their bank, & then wait 3 to 5 days for it to clear. I've quite forgotten what it is to write a cheque. Be great to catch up, yes. Like most of us, I became a hermit during Lockdown, so when I first ventured out - to an SPT - I was actually quite nervous & uncomfy. My next outing was to another SPT, & I still felt a bit awkward socially. It could have been slower ha, I had to set you up again as a payee for some reason, what a faff that was!

The Chariots Of Fire theme is probably my favourite piece of instrumental music ever. Also, without fitting in to any of the typical genres of music I listen to, "I'll Find My Way Home" with Jon Anderson is also a firm favourite on my playlist (despite the cheesy TOTP footage, featuring a guitar and baby grand piano, neither of which are heard in the song!) RIP Vangelis. https://youtu.be/rKqLAVyRaXw I loved that song too, The Friends Of Mr Cairo album is one of my all time favourites and it's a toss up depending on my mood whether the original of State of Independence or the cover by Donna Summer which is also on that album is as good or better.

This is a little late but being a proggy I had to post the very sad death of Evángelos Odysséas Papathanassíou from complications due to treatment of COVID-19 at the age of 79.
Vangelis started writing music when he was 4 and performed his first live concert at age 6 and was quite the legend in many musical genres. In my youth I had a Saturday job in a record store which had a rather large second-hand vinyl box and one of my best finds was a mint copy of Break by Aphrodite’s Child one of his first successful forays into pop music.
He ventured into prog-psychedelic albums, partnerships including Monserrat Caballe, Irene Papas & Jon Anderson from Yes and then into the many film scores he is famous for as well as conducting orchestras and writing the themes for the 2002 World cup . He had many honours in his lifetime which can be found on his wiki.
"All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain"
RIP Maestro. What a legacy you left us.

I'm not a Boris fan, but I like the fact that he's the only one who didn't button his jacket.
Interesting, I saw the same picture and thought what have we done wrong to be represented by an unkempt, dishevelled cocksocket. How we let a man who can't handle a hairbrush handle a country is beyond me.
