Regarding Grosvenor Employees and online forums.

i recently got invited to a Grosvenor Merrion (Leeds) Facebook Group! i know its not a poker forum but it has the same similaraties and the new manager has set up a group to let customers know about upcoming events and poker schedules ect! i even got a personal message from the manager asking me if i had any suggestions on how to improve things. so maybe you could suggest something similar to your walsall grosvenor.

just thought id share this with you.

Jen is very sad about the lack of interactivity from you guys. Please cheer her up.

Ya just don't get it do you!

Not interacting makes you produce funny cat pictures which >>>>>>>>> interacting with the likes of you people. Simple.

thats not milton keynes! theres not enough roundabouts!!

Though now I have let the cat out of the bag so to speak.  Roll Eyes

Hey, Floppy's the boss.  I told him this aerial view of Milton Keynes would get our message across more efficiently.

thats not milton keynes! theres not enough roundabouts!!

Sebastian Ruthenberg, definite Bond Villain material.

Johnny Lodden Smile Update!!!

A collapse into giggles for the Norse Pro after the guy to his left open shoved from the cutoff for 25k, blinds 200/400/50, and then showed Jacks.

it looks like johnny lodden has got an outrageous mullet!

Biggest Pot Of The Day Action!

I wander over to Table Chili because as far as I can see she has raised preflop to 4k, with at least one caller behind her in James Morgan, and I see that Frank Doyle has gone all in for considerably more. I should note at this point that Jonathan Huckle is also in the hand - his back was to me and I couldn't see his chips, apologies apologies - I just sort of assumed he'd flat-called the 4k until Snoops and Junglecat put doubt in my mind and made me think he might have re-raised - reasons for this to become obvious soon.

Chili dwells. For ages. So when she finally calls (she and Doyle are roughly even in chips), James Morgan and Jonathan Huckle don't have to bother pretending to think about it. Four-way all in!

Frank Doyle -
Maria Demtriou -
James Morgan -
Jonathan Huckle -

Board - oh, this is exciting, "Aces can't win!" someone is shouting - (OOOH!) - wait wait for it -

And I swear the look of joy on her face is that same look that newly-crowned Misses World have - it's a look of pure happiness that says that fate has finally smiled upon her. She had 35k at the start of the hand and covered all three unfortunate all-inners; three very angry gentleman headed for the rail while she raked in a veritable mountain of chips. She is a very lucky girl, and we reckon she's our new chip leader with probably around 100k.

For those who have never experienced it firsthand, this is what true happiness looks like:

James Morgan threatens to beat her about the head with his Aces:

That mountain, post-raking, pre-stacking:

Is this dealer a Card Mechanic by any chance??? The odds on that hand are imense!!!

Id like to thank dtd for putting on a great tournament. It was a good schedule which allowed for plenty of play! i managed to scrape through to Day 2 with a short stack of 22,400 after having some of the best luck ive had at poker! i won 8 50/50 races coming from behind every time and hitting the river 7/8 times! I started day 2 picking up a few pots from the button, on the 3rd lap i pushed on the button for 18k with   ! SB folds and Des in the BB says '' i think your bluffing! i think you've got nothing!" he the called off half his stack with   three clubs! WTF? No Ladyluck for me this time as he spikes a Q on the river! The only race i didnt win and i was infront! How do you justify calling off half your stack with Q3. And some players said this guy was a good player!

Id like to thank Fran Plant and Brent Horner also My mum for their support!

Also well done to Andrew James who i was sat next to at the start of the Tourney!

It was a good Event and well done to all the finalists and well done to blonde for the updates! hope to post more often and see you at the next event!
