Yep, password here please.

Provided the draw of the pub isn't too strong, I'll be in.

The worrying thing about Gmail is the fact that they will index all of your emails and create a profile of you which is linked to their search engine and advertising business.

I've heard people say this before, and I can't understand why this is a bad thing. Surely the whole reason why junk mail is annoying is because it's of no relevance to me - if Google can build up a profile of me which means I only see adverts which are of interest to me isn't that a good thing?

At least Google are being upfront about how they'll eventually make money from Gmail - Mailnation look like the 'totally-free' ISPs which there was a flurry of a couple of years ago, promising the earth for nothing and then collapsing under the weight of their failed business model - ie a bunch of chancers.

I have to agree with Mark  Smiley Gmail rocks.

Cool, thanks.

Had a look at the odds - I'm amazed to find there are people longer than me in the betting for the whole thing!

If Tikay allows I can post the draw after the show has aired.

If you could that would be cool - I don't have Sky at home and would like to know who I'm playing without having to wait till tomorrow.

Hi Jen

Any chance of a nice as-panoramic-as-you-can-make-it pic of the poker area? Having never been to any of these big fancy foreign casinos, I'd like to get an idea of the mise-en-scène of these places as it helps paint a picture for your updates.

The Crypto update software is notoriously crap tempermental. Try uninstalling the software, restarting your computer, then reinstalling it.

Snoopy, it is possible for a hacker to get into your machine and remotely be able to see everything that is on your screen. This isn't something which is particular to poker - it's usually used to obtain passwords and banking security details etc.

The way it works is the hacker will get you to download some file, or open an email or messenger chat or something, within which will be the program which reports back on what your computer is doing.

If you take the usual security considerations when playing poker/using the net you'll be fine.

Updated betting on the event from Stan James.

13/2 favourite, eh?  Worth a flutter?

BTW the link looks all messed up because of the blooming card graphics, but it does seem to work.

This is what top class poker is all about.

El Blondie has top pair, crap kicker and yet goes over the top of a check/reraise from someone trying it on, and is proved right. Why do we never see this sort of thing on the telly?

OK, in the interests of charity, I am willing to allow P4C to use my photo in their forthcoming calendar.

I'm all heart...

Every single thing I ever hear about Greg Raymer leads me to believe that he is an absolute diamond for the poker business. Wins the World Series - gets high in the money next year - seems to continue to cash well in tournaments (as far as I can see) - conducts himself with nothing less than unadulterated aplomb.

What an absolute star.

NEWSFLASH: Reuters

The world of Blondepoker was thrown into shock this evening as renowned poster RFC lost his life after being drowned in a flood of oestrogen. Eyewitnesses report that RFC's final comments were innocent remarks regarding an anomalous peaking in posts from female Blondites. However, a torrent of femininity soon overwhelmed the poster and he slipped quietly away.

A forum mourns....   Sad

Jen, Gryko chip leader at the TV table?  Some people will never hear the end of this...

Pontecarlo - I post on BF as Creme, and play on BF as Marbles. We only met very briefly at the Gutshot when you flogged me a raffle ticket. No amount of kudos could be forthcoming to signify the effort you put in to making that weekend so fun for everyone.

OK, who was the cheeky monkey who photoshopped Hugh Jackman's face onto my body?
