16  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Miracle Mac! on: December 20, 2006, 11:56:13 PM
I got a MacBook at the weekend....to compliment my 20 inch iMac at work, and I have to say it's lovely.

Camino is a dream to use, as is firefox, I have a multitude of desktops and screensavers randomly changing all day to keep my eyeballs happy.

I was once scared of the Mac, but now .. I embrace it.

Add that to my brand new N73 phone with my Slingbox, and I am a happy camper indeed.

I for one am glad this is all sorted, the stress this has put everyone under involved with P4C/G4L

has hopefully come to an end. I will not be posting again on this matter or any other thread on this
site.

Good Luck to Maureen, Stacey and Reece.

All the details of what money was raised for this years tournaments will be available on the P4C site.

All we ever wanted to do was to make a difference by raising funds through the poker community
and things could have been handled differently looking back now.

I have found out who our true friends are in the poker world and would like to thank them for their support.

Merry Christmas to Everyone.

Ang

Well, I am not sure it is sorted out.

I'm also frankly shocked at the fact that Ange can pull it around to her and Davey finding out who "their true friends are in poker".

This isn't about friendships, loss of image, and people being slighted. This is about people being misled, and promised things that take an age to be delivered.

A more humble apology followed by no wallowing about friendships would have been light years more appropriate than what Ange posted.

I work at the Business Design Centre, in one of the showrooms (posh name for offices) that are around the edge of the conference space.

That's the outside

There's the conference space.

Nice space. Pain in the arse when a conference is on. Monumental pain in the arse when the CBI conference is on and the Prime Minister arrives just when i am trying to get back into the building for lunch.

Nice when the wine industry have their conferences there tho....

You should check out the South Park episode that features WoW.

I work for an MMOG, and I nearly puked from laughing so much. Worth watching:)

Gawd, I know you guys miss me, but 30 pages?

(I haven't even read all of em - too busy!)

You don't need a female mod IMHO, as long as people can coherently explain their position and the mods are willing to listen (and I think in most cases the mods on here do), then there should be no occasion when the gender of a mod would make a difference in the way that they deal with any situation.

The most important thing a mod can have is objectivity.
