Hi Glenn,

On Monday night I late regged for the UKPC Mini once the tournaments were back up and running.  I played really badly and didn't make Day 2.

Am I entitled to some sort of compensation for not card racking my way to a monster stack ?

Cheers

From Glenn on Facebook

Glenn Townsend: partypoker are starting to cancel in play tournaments and will refund players as per their disconnection policy. I am seeking clarification on what will happen to the Online Day 1 where there is no physical prize.

So I'm guessing my late reg plan for the UKPC Mini and sats is not going to happen then ?

Great photos.  All the notes about what's at each location now got me searching Youtube for some of the demolition videos.  Feels like Vegas constantly churns it's hotels.  Going for the first time this year, so much history, can't wait.

Only in Vegas could they make the demolition of a building into a show.

What's the general consensus on the currency thing ?

I've had a party account for a while which is in USD.

I see that the DTD sats are currently running in USD even though the target live event will be in GBP.  Is the plan going forward for the DTD satellites to run in GBP, or is it just going to be a case of exchange rates being monitored to ensure they are rounded as close as possible from event to event.

Ideally I would like my account in GBP so I can deposit and withdraw in GBP, with satellites in GBP for live events in GBP, but appreciate this might not be possible.  Would be good to know what DTD's plans are before I go trying to change the currency on my account.

Cheers

You're in good hands there Graham.

Currently out of the country, otherwise I would have helped, but glad someone else has been able to oblige.

Rest up, and recover well.

Casino is now live.

Also, they've added equity percentages to the table for all-in showdowns which is something Stars were strongly against implementing in the past.

As long as they don't implement the Hot-O-Meter, we'll all be okay Smiley

No online, all live.

On second thoughts, are the guys attached to estate agents fully independent?

I've always questioned that.  Don't know for definite, but have tended to steer clear.

The brokers will earn a fee from the mortgage company you use, but this should always be very clear and transparent in the paperwork and details.

Not sure where you are based, but here's a link to the guys we use - http://www.davidsondeem.co.uk

We've always used an independent local broker.  Have had some ridiculously good deals over the years and they've always looked after everything for us.

Tend to use the online sites to compare what we are offered from the broker, and the broker has never been beaten in over 15 years.
