Ive said that I will but I need time as I cannot pluck that money out of thin air.

Yes I was a coward hold my hands up on that one. I got obsessed with chasing for quick results which was dumb. A mistake Ill never make again.

Not that it makes much odds either but I deleted virtually everyone on fb who I wasnt close to because I dont want all and sundry having access to my personal life. Ive divulged more on here about having aspergers sundrome, my bullying at school etc than I'd ever share with anyone else.

However if any of you wish to message me on facebook please do. Im not hiding, Ive dealt with things in a bad way and I want to make amends if that is at all possible.

Im here to put some things straight as they were.

I emailed Keith last night after Id seen his reply. I went through a lot of desperation in trying to make money from the hobby I loved that I ended up deluding myself re: my skill levels etc.

I was a good player but I didnt have a good head. I sunk myself so far that I was too embarassed to say anything to Jamie and Keith (I had returned money to Greekstein when he wished to pull out).

I dont play pool competitively any more my last money game was over 2 and half years ago but I donked out well before that at end of 2011 because Jamiw got in touch.

My number shouldnt be dead and Id be happy for anybody to get in touch - its removed by mod. I cannot ever apologise enough for being afraid to just admit I failed! I havent handled things well at all and the only reason Im here is to just redeem myself. My wife has said under no conditions should I be on gambling sites/videos/forums etc.

Im upset that people think theyve been grimmed but I understand why you reach that conclusion. Do you really think I would name drop and give my address etc. Especially when George2loose lives near my estate!!! Normally losing bets dont pay back etc however I am willing here because I am ashamed and upset at the way Ive done things to pay back the money and that includes the deficot that I owe greekstein which I think maybe about 80 quid. I cannot just do it all in one go I do not have that kind of money but I invite anybody to call me, so that I can resolve this fairly with all concerned.

I have nothing to hide, Ill man up and face my mistakes. Mentally I have issues and I should never have tried to do what I did but I wanted to have success. What a skewed thouhht that was. Lets straighten this out. I look a plank on here saying all this. Let me just get it straight.

Guys - please text or call me I will speak to you.

Regards
Barry

Guys sorry Ive been absent for the past week, my fiancee has been seriously ill in hospital and that has had to be my main priority.

Whoever said 'Grim' I'm upset you think I'm out to grim, especially after I've given my home address and personal details (also that of my fiancee and her mother who is vulnerable!!!) to the people involved.

Linux - yes I played a match for £100 a couple of weeks ago now against a very good amateur player recieving handicaps. We played best of 7 sets, race to 9 in each set. I get 3 head start and it is adjusted after each set depending if I win or lose. I lost 4 sets to 2. Was a game I had an edge in but of course anything can happen.

As has been confirmed by Cos, this thread has garnered too much attention by actual pool players that I've opted to keep updates private. If anybody wants an update on what's going on then please tell me, and I'll PM you as well. I wanted to delete the thread altogether, but then I would definitely be accused of grimming and that's not what it is. Games are harder to come by due to this thread as a lot of people are trying to take advantage, so it's working out a strategy with a mate who is 'managing' me to get the right games that are in my favour.

I hope that this is satisfactory for all, like I say please PM me if you want to be updated on the progress Smiley

As I told Cox yesterday, I couldn't get a lift to Daventry to play the midnight money match. The one lift offer I had, the drive got too drunk to drive!!! Can't manage a 6 or 7 legged 3 hour journey to Daventry on my own as I don't travel well when reliant on Public Transport.

Having a serious think about the whole thing now to be honest. I need to be looking for local games and just turning up and throwing some challenges out there. The people who want to play me generally bottle it because they know they can't win or their backers tell them to pull out. Got a certain prick killing my action at every opportunity, which is annoying.

I have a friend locally who has a strong business head and doesn't take any shit whatsoever. I'm gonna see if he's interested in managing me, in a sense of the word. He has lots of experience in finding the right games and knows all the angles, so I'm hopeful he may be able to help me.

One game I'm going to negotiate today is a match against a player who plays in the local Rack N Roll (Leicester) 9-ball league. He's placed in bottom of Division 2 while I'm 2nd in Division 1, but he thinks he's better than he is so is always up for a game. I've proposed a match for £100-£150, Best of 31 sets race to 4 in each set. Will be a 2 day match if we do it, as it will be a max of 217 racks. Can't justify playing for much more because we are friends.

Maybe Dubais idea of spinning up against a fish who can't hold a cue was a better idea lol

-5

Even if he beats Wladimir he is not a great champion. Muhammed Ali, Mike Tyson, Joe Frazier, Rocky Marciano, Joe Louis and....David Haye

Sorry lol, just doesn't sit right with me. Maybe if he unifies every belt in the division then he deserves credit, but even doing that the heavyweight division is just not like it used to be.

FML get a facebook message this morning from the guy I meant to be playing tomorrow

"Sorry pal, can't play Thursday now as I forgot it's my sisters birthday on friday, and I don't want to gamble her birthday present money. Can we play next week?"

How can you forget your own sisters birthday? Rearranged for next Thursday now, but I'm not happy about it in slightest.

of the 64 teams to have played in the english top flight only 13 have a positive goal difference. I'll give you the obvious ones

liverpool +1600
man u +1467
arsenal +1447
everton +703
villa +665
spurs +396
chelsea +196

can you get the other 6?

clue: not brum, stoke or leicester all of whom have a worse than -450 goal difference

Answers already googled lol, oh well my guesses were pants anyway Smiley
