Don't be apologising Denis, there are a lot of people who understand where you are coming from. The hurt and emptiness will always be with you in some form but you will get better at dealing with it in time. Don't beat yourself up at all and let yourself feel what you feel. Like others, my mum passed on a few years ago and the pain is still unbearable at times but I'm here despite it and so are you and the others who have been kind enough to share their own sorrow. Just keep going right now. x

Mary, I really hope your brothers operation is a success. They must think its worth a shot or wouldnt be doing it. My uncle had a brain tumour removed and he is fine years later.

I'm thinking about you, your family and your brother and wish very hard that it all okay. xxx

I have what might be a daft question. Do you have to move your bowel before the irrigation to get the best out of it? Does Kev get an enema before the flush or is it all the same procedure? I'm sure he wouldn't mind the 2 part procedure.
