I'm going to miss Kmac and his one-eyed rants. It was some achievement to succeed in making Woodsey appear to be the voice of reason.

I haven't gone away you know!

Very successful meeting yesterday and when these powers the quislings voted for don't materialise we will be ready for round 2.

Yup the bile and nonsense is clearly still there.

So much nonsense being spouted on social media - and by some do called politicians - about vote rigging. And so much bleating and hatred from the folk who, when they thought they might win, we're saying let's all get together and have a cuddle afterwards. Bad losers much?

And as for the hatred directed at the older folk who voted No in their droves. Is it possible, just faintly possible, that they might be wiser and more experienced than the 16 year olds who voted Yes?

And folk trying to boycott businesses who were brave enough to tell the truth despite the intimidation of the Yessers. Is this Sillars' Day of Reckoning. Vile bunch really.

That is not at all patronising to younger voters then

Yeah I guess it is, and there are many who made an excellent contribution to the debate, but the older folk do not deserve the nastiness that's been directed at them. I don't think that just because you turn 60 you turn into a feeble minded fool, which is what has been implied by some.

i think he is a poison
i have a dislike and distrust of him

Based on?

probably based on as much logic as you use calling no voters quislings

Not really they are.  Turning your back on your own country and siding with another makes anyone a quisling in my  book.

And this is why Yes didn't win, didn't deserve to win, and never will.
Sad that someone could even think like this, never mind be prepared to put it down in writing.

What is the best channel to watch this on? the BBC is tilting me but is it better elsewhere?

Dunno. Lesley Riddoch seems to have gone barking in the last couple of years. But compelling to watch somehow!

Not sure my back up is ready for the whole night

How's the atmosphere next door?

Glasgow turn out 75%? Wtf. The extra turnout is undecideds voting no in rural areas, not major city teases.

A lot of the Yes Campaign's "passion" really turned off, and indeed scared, a number of voters. Particularly the older ones. Speaking to my mum she was genuinely scared by some of the crap going on, and that's in Dunblane not exactly a hotbed of anything. They seemed to form themselves a wee elderly task force to make sure they got out and voted No.

I see they've got Rangers' accountants doing their poll.

Or John Swinney.

Turnout 88%

No 52 Yes 48

Yes out to 8.6 on Betfair since polls closed (6 before polls closed) - no idea if this means anything.

This has to be the worse one I have seen yet from either side.

Really really hope I never meet that guy. Don't think I'd be able to stop myself.

Yes, worst I've seen from anyone.

Love any type of election night. Looking forward to it!

+1

Looking at tightys stats / graphs, (plus one or two others Smiley ),watching and reading this play out.....does it not feel close?

Yet,today its still....... 1/5 is NO and 4/1 YES

You can get 5/1 on Betfair now.  Have just done one of those bets that feels a bit dirty, so must be value.

Love the hope vs fear stuff.  Hope we have a currency union.   Hope we can walk away from your debts.  Hope we can get 90% of the oil.  Hope there is a masisve turnaround in oil volumes.  Hope that sustainable energy no longer needs big subsidies.  Hope we can collect less tax and pay more to public services and still have enough to provide an oil fund for the future.  Hope we get a AAA rating.

They are right, hopes don't get much bigger than all those.

Hope we are still together in the morning.  Going to be like death in the morning, already done two late ones in a row.

Very tempted to have a bet on yes at 5/1. Seems ridiculously good value. Just.......can't.......quite.......bring......myself.....to do it.

Getting a wee bit fed up with this now. For every bit of bad behaviour by a yes supporter I could find you evidence of far worse on the other side. The media have behaved very poorly throughout this in portraying it 1. as an issue at all (even a senior police officer had to make a statement today about it) and 2. that it is only one side that has a few idiots.

Social media has been quite a revelation to me throughout this just makes me wonder what bullshit we have been fed in the past that we have naively lapped up.

I've ignored the media on this and only gone with what I've seen and heard myself. It's been 100% one way.
You may choose not to believe that, I don't particularly care.

I was typing that while you were posting so wasn't directed towards you in particular.

I don't doubt you when you say that is what you have witnessed personally and also that you don't particularly care although why you feel the need to make the point I don't know.

Apologies - thought the comment was directed at me. I was a bit tired!

One thing I'm genuinely fascinated about is the betting. Betunfair seem so confident in their exchanges - to be fair they did a much better job of the US election than the pollsters without any customers - but I don't see how they can be so sure.

I'm off to the USA soon to sell them beer. I may have no idea what price I'm going to sell them it, and no Embassy to go to too. Ah well, let's wait and see.

For the love of all that is sacred, they have installed a projector and are playing braveheart against my wall

I have no words left

Unbelievable scenes  Cheesy

That is absolutely brilliant!!!

Someone stuck a campaign sign up on a lamppost right outside the polling station last night, whilst removing the other sides ones from elsewhere in the village. Laws don't seem to apply. It's gone now. 😃
