Marks a legend if this is true

Tell me about it - we saw the best of it a few times when he was a dealer at the local gala

After a week he reports

"WSOP Tracking Update : .2+2ers are only slightly down in buyins (normalising the effect of the $50K event somewhat) but $250k down in money terms.

Love Andy's blog. This has probably just whoosed me but I don't get the above sentence in his round up, surely if 2+2ers are slightly down in buy-ins they can't be $250k down in money terms? In short what's the difference between buy-ins and money terms in this context?

edit: also strange that Dwan isn't included in tv pros or 2+2 etc as he could arguably fit into either, perhaps that's why he wasn't included?

Im assuming he means they are $250k down, which in reality is only 5 buy ins as most played the $50k event

I think this is a standard only getting called by better hands spot, isn't it? What can he have that either a) is better than you but will fold or b) is worse than you but will still call a bet?

Does As Xs check the river to me?
Surely JsTs check raises the flop or tries to get it in at some point?
Any set surely doesnt check call 2 streets?

why are you bothering with poker at the moment? Do this full time and get a big enough bankroll yourself, get rich then play poker as much as you want after with no worries, unless you're already loaded of course.

I dont play poker full time, I never play online and I still consider Betfair my occupation, so to speak.

Playing at dee tea dee the other night and playing at a pretty tough 1/2 game with Bedi, Mitch, Thewy and a few local regs.

Pretty early on and no real reads on villain apart from he had been playing very abc and pretty tight.

Folded to me in MP and raise to 10 with  and pick up 3 callers including button and both blinds.

Flop  , both blinds check and I lead for 30.

BB calls.

Turn is  three diamonds, bb checks, I bet 55, he calls.

River  two spades, bb checks.

Action on me, pot is around 210 and ive around 300 left, villain playing a remaining stack of about 160.

Whats my play?

Thewy. As I took this, and headed over to say hi, he limped UTG+1 after UTG limped. By the time the BB checked, 5-6 players had called. They saw a flop, and it was checked to Julian, who bet out 150. 4 players called and they all saw a turn. Again, Julian bet out, this time 400. He got 2 callers this time, and the dealer put out the river. Julian fired for a third time, making it 1400 to go this time. Kevin McCann snap-called, and the other player folded. Thewy flipped for turned Quads and McCann mucked, claiming to have flopped a set and got away cheaply.

[ ] I bet he flopped a set

Hadnt really thought about it but dont see why you cant half cash out, or even part/part.

Your right about very little time in between WC ending and Champs League quals starting.

I have just ordered the cheque from Betfair for those that have requested the cash out.  The cheque should arrive on the 16th of June , give or take a day or so.  As soon as it arrives ill cash it and then send on from there.

When I get a spare 1/2 day or so ill do a full report but a few stats to start with.

Traded games = 60
Profitable games = 53
Losing games = 7

Return on investment (assuming full season) = 266.25%

Wouldnt be surprised to see Gerrard to go work with Jose at real.

Torres should stay I reckon now depending on who comes in.

One thing that has always worried me about Rafa is the fact that no player ever seems to get on with him apart from on a professional level.
