Good luck to Will Folwell....take it down mate....the guy is another great player, not very well known and apart from a big cash in Spain has regular success online on Full Tilt! And would be warmly accepted into the Blue Blood Union!

well back to the two hands....while chatting to Chris on the table he openly suggested he enjoyed playing poker and taking out the stars, as the poker table is a great leveller...this guy should seriously think about having a career in online poker.....extreme card rack....shudve known once he called me I was heading to the rail! Not sure if this hand was already reported on Blonde but listen to this for luck!.....Johhny Houston limps utg(and represents at least a fairly strong hand) one other caller then Chris raises on the cut off to 2200 (blinds 300/600), I am holding Q10 clubs short stack wud love to see a cheap flop, but fold! Flop comes  , 3 way pot checked round to Mr Brion he bets Johhny flats other caller folds turn , Johhny bets out Chris raises and Johhny Houston shoves, Brion snap calls and shows  Two Clubs, Johhny shows  ....river comes  to give the rack quads for the second time in the day! The other hand was a classic and in the last deepstack 32 runners left 27 paid! Bodo Wagner limps for 1600 I hold  so limp too...Chris chipped up and to my left raises to 6000, Mickey Wernick on the button raises to 22,000, fold round to Chris who smooth calls flop three diamonds, 1st to speak Chris checks, Mickey moves all in for the rest of his stack about 70K? Chris snap calls with A9 Masterful and the rack goes on to cash on FT.

Just gone out in a race....well one legged one really and Its just dawned on me who Ive been sitting with for the last 8 levels, after the apologies I had to make to Mr Herbert last deepstack I am not going slag of my fellow poker players but I have to tell you about two of the worst poker plays the I have witnessed in recent history (next post).......first the hand I went out on after recovering from a low point of 3300 chips (had 99 vs AJ hold up along the way) Chris Brion raised on the hijack for 2200 I push with QQ (both red) on the cut off for 9300, he dwells up then calls me with K10 diamonds 2 x diamonds on the flop K on the turn....good night Vienna!

Looking forward to the £300 again today but the Grand Prix looks immense value £50 for a £40k guarantee and the same structure as today....you would have to be mad to miss out on that!
I'm accompanying Mr Colin Young to Vienna for the Chili poker deepstack Oct 14th, to make sure he doesnt have it too easy against all the French contingent, shud be playing some of the GUKPT Brighton events if only the £300 on Tuesday.... and since my outburst a few weeks ago regarding the well loved Dreenie and Ade, I will be meeting Jason Herbert for peace talks and soft drinks at the bar before the tourney starts!

Have had a few personal messages from Jason Herbert and I would like to formally apologise for my words against him and any deformation of character he seems a reasonable guy and has made a very fair offer to Dreenie to redress his words against her whether she accepts or not is up to her, but I have renewed respect for Jason.

Well done Vinny!....when you return to Luton can you remind Alan (gray?) that just because he has overraised his KJ (suited) utg he can still infact fold to my all in with KK......needless to say he hit Jack on the flop, Jack on the turn to deny me a seat on the £100 FO final table....well played mate, glad I chose to play Luton instead of DTD Smiley

Hi Jason.....I did infact head to DTD on my way back to Luton today, I bumped into Vinnie who mentioned that you had replied to my post, had I the time to read your post or reply then I would have done so and would have quite happily discussed things with you face to face, Im not an aggressive  person so there is unlikely to be fisticuffs however i do respect both Ade and Andrienna and hence the reason I defended them, I probably should have discussed this with you on the day, but poker was my prime focus, or made you aware that Andrienna in particular is a good friend....We all have our opinions on other players and their characters, I was simply saying that I felt that you were a little bit too vocal about these two particular players and Im pleased that you had the balls to speak to Ade about your objections to his behaviour....Ade and Andrienna are good for the game as you say and if you have problems with them then by all means let them know directly...The problem I had with you in particular and I would say this to your face was you asked me about my Pokerstars UKIPT hoodie and what I had played in terms of the events, but it was soon clear to me that you wanted to blow ur own trumpet in that you had cashed in a previous event and plan to buy into the EPT leg in London....you have to admit that you singled out Eleanor for special attention and were a little bit over the top in comments to her. Im sure you are happily married and I wouldnt like to cast aspersions to your loyalty to your wife and family or cause problems for you, that is certainly not my place.....Congratulations on your latest cash in the deepstack this weekend and I sincerely hope you do well in your efforts in the EPT also. I would like to add that I have plenty of people who wish to knock me for no apparent reason other than perhaps a hint of jealousy, in particular from players at my local club, perhaps the reason I am a bit sensitive for other players on this matter! No hard feelings and hope to see you soon, I dont expect Dreenie to have such a laissez faire approach with you judging by her post!

On that note.....Dont usually slag people off and it seems a bit hypocritical thinking about what im gonna say....but some guy on my table happened to be wearing a Christian Audigier £600 hoody (they saw him coming) decided to tell the whole table how he thought Dreenie looked like a horse and was one of the worst players for losing it and dressing people down when she goes out......for 1 I think Dreenie has learnt many lessons over the last few months and I certainly havent seen her act in that way of late....but it just pisses me off when people wanna bad mouth other players...this is supposed to be a gentleman's /ladies game, but many players dont act in that manner....you will never see Dave Smith or Mickey lose their cool, or disrespect their fellow professionals, the most you will see is a wry smile....Mr "Ed Hardy" also saw fit to slag off the well loved Ade, by the time I had spent 1 3 levels in his company I was praying to be moved to Ade's table for some respite or at least some headache tablets....he was very much up his own Rs and was making suggestive and lude comments to the lady next to him, Eleanor I think her name was....Anyways off my pedestal now....can we try to respect our fellow poker players and if we wanna dis people at least have the decency to say it to their face not when they have left the building!

yep would concur with Dreenie.....even the mouth warmed to Bassi taking the piss each time he put a raise in saying "I have a hand".....contrary to Ms Cove's comments about Mickey Wernick being called the worm, Mickey clarified that he got it from playing cash and every time he was down he came back and like a worm if you chop it in half it still survives, the story of Mickey's poker life the guy is a stayer....I prefer the worm rather than the Legend just doesnt quite seem to fit......all my cash benefactors pre 2005 know me as Semtex and I will be happy to be known as that by them and anyone else cos I was given the name by a player I respect...dont think its fair you give yourself a name....Mickey also went on to explain how Devilfish ended up getting his name, but only caught the end of that 1.....Have to say quite enjoyed being on the table with Mickey, and Dave Smith the 2 gentlemen of the poker scene and even Ms Cove was more fun than I expected!

Found a spot Blind on blind all folded round to me on the SB A8??? No brainer! shove! and yes chip leader on the BB finds AJ this game can be cruel...ask Mickey Wernick....Im sure that's not the worst bad beat he has seen....I limped into the pot with Q10 spades but had to fold to a raise and reraise he actually made it 22k preflop after a 6k raise from Chris, not a great call from the A9 but hey sometimes you run good some times the poker Gods wish to humble you!
