"The best player in the world"  manages to get one of the biggest calling stations on the planet to fold the second nuts.

I presume you don't know the other players to find out what they received?

does the lobby show the adjusted payouts once the tournament is finished?

the value of the spin ticket is only any good if i win the spin.

So you're saying you get some $ value in tournament ticket equity? Smiley

Oh and to add a bit extra they have decided to make my account have additional casino bonuses which is even more strange as I have never been on the casino site.

Strange? almost like they see a profitable unused vertical and offer you a bonus to explore a part of the site you might not know existed?

Justin and Postles response to all this has been bizarre to say the least!

Have read it too, and given it to my wife/parents to read as a great discussion of poker without any real poker content.

I was very happy that those who I had held in high regard did not disappoint.

I'm pretty zen but also still think about a single hand from WSOP main 7 years ago so it's all relative and if anything you should take from the book that it's a process and you cant expect to do it perfectly at all times but to continue to battle to do that much better going forward.

I deposited $1000 on Stars last night. Went to go on a 6 handed $1-$2 cash game and the table wouldn’t open. It then said my account has been frozen.

Been emailing the Stars Support Team and cannot get any response what so ever. Really frustrating.

Has anybody experienced before? I have tried the @StarsSupport on Twitter and no response from them either!😡

DM me your account name and i'll check on Monday.

edit - assuming you are UK. there are age verification regulations you have to pass to do anything with your account.

Been waiting ages for them to verify my account.

Been waiting over a week now despite sending pictures of me holding my photo id.I mean , how long does it take.

GG Poker (who i had never heard of) took 10 hours to verify. They now have my custom.

the cynical among us may consider that that is worse than it taking time...

There is the small matter of nearly £50k worth of 'bad beat' types promos resorts have collected from regs in the last year for things that haven't been won but the punters have been 'taxed' for for months.   This needs to be sorted and punters refunded.    Regular cash game players have been paying £100s a month via increased 'promo rake' into jackpots that are now not going to be won.   I have no idea how they are going to sort this but they are sitting on nearly £50k at resorts that is effectively players money that now can't be won, through no fault of our own, which we have all paid into and won less/lost more during each session for well over a year to fund these.   Genting can't be allowed to keep this.   Sorry for lowering the tone when dozens have lost their jobs but this needs to be addressed and fairly.   No idea how they will do it but they can't be allowed to just hoover up the nearly £50k pot all the players have paid towards for months with now no way to win it.

hardly going to set a precedent that casinos are legally allowed to free roll customers

Small changes such as grip and positioning will have large consequences and will feel awkward. but you have to push through to reset your default to be more 'proper'.

Little bit more twisting motion with your hips as the rotation of the hips is where alot of the power through the ball comes from. Good progress so far  thumbs up

shorten swing + head still for 2 full seconds after impact can normally improve most players games by a significant degree, not just early on but in general.

by definition as you move into the woods you hit it further, which amplifies any inaccuracy.

Mainly posting to say Max looked adorable sorry for your loss.

From looking at the quick swing videos, my top tip would be to not take the club back too far. parallel with the shoulders is the common descriptor for where to stop, with the John Daly being wrapping it round your back and up your crack before unwinding it all.

The longer you swing the more chance of a cock up, taking a half swing reduces the options for error. you can slowly expand it as you get more comfortable and consistent. with a 50% swing you probably can hit 75% of your max distance. to get that last 25% you try really hard and your chance of inaccuracy goes up immensely.
