He makes it 22k, over 3x would lead me to conclusion he's not esp au fait w/ tournament technicalitites. I'd just call as we can just play in a totally exploitative manner here.

Which commentators do you loathe most? Nasser and Botham are especially irritaing imo.

Meh, idk about saved, is more like missing nice opportunity to set $248 on fire!

Need more info on stuff like his WTSD, WWSF, 4bet, fold to cbet etc. I don't know what you are trying to achieve preflop, it's not something am really familiar with, but will speculate:  ---

Was your intention that he would always call preflop and c/f a lot postflop?

Were you thinking that you wanted more money in the pot preflop so that you could get more in postflop in the event of hitting hard?

You want to play a pot with him heads up and are concerned about getting squeezed/it going multiway?

Does he peel 2 streets often but c/f river a lot so you want to build a pot to barrel at?

Would be interested to hear your reasoning for pf, I don't think it's standard so perhaps he has some tendencies that you feel this exploits?

Not really a remark on hand, but there are definitely fish types who will take passive/trapping lines with their made hands and a lot of their actual betting range is air. I'd want to have some kind of note. What was your reasoning for pf? ?

Nevermind metagame, you didn't post any history. Fact is, initially he will give your CR "too much" respect. What is his cb% btw? It is therefore a waste to do it w/ AQ in this spot, we may as well have a hand like AJ. Balancing your range or w/e is irrelevant, he a weak TAG, he's betting a polarised range in this spot without history and a c/c is the best play. If 1) you have punished him for this, and CR'd him with abandon before, and 2) he has adapted by implemented a polarised cb range with the intention of calling a CR (the correct way to adapt) your play is ok. However, as he hasn't you ameliorate his fit or fold policy by CR'ing here, you need to be taking exploitative lines until  given a reason not to.

Don't jam river unless you are trying to fold out an overpair!

The guy is a nit, opening 20%, he's open folding 78s and doesn't vbet thin. His river agg is probs ~20%? Seems like strereotypical weaktight player. River is a c/f, no way he pays off KQ I'd imagine, he won't bluff either. The cr flop line is probable questionable as he is just weak, not paranoid,  he's looking to make hero folds, not hero calls. c/c flop and can probs c/f coordinating turns, c/c bricks and c/decide river, leaning towards c/f.

The Camel is right ofc. Wazz has treated investors with an arrogant disregard, I chopped an mtt once upon a time and owed someone a good chunk. I felt embarrassed every day I'd not sent them their money as obviously it was my responsibility to do so. Piper could have sorted this much sooner. Any decent, moral person would be ashamed to have conducted themselves the way he has, it is only when his position becomes completely untenible that he relents.

Wow, just wow at that thread on 2+2.

I hadn't read it since the massage episode which was lol ridic.

But the latest turn events is just stomach wrenching. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the remaining investors got stiffed.

When I went deep in the wsop Harrahs fcked up my wire transfer and it took a couple of weeks to sort out.

Similarly if you pay foreign cheques into a uk bank acct it often takes up to a month for them to put cash in your acct.

But to take over 4 months to pay out investors is so shady and the excuses are getting out of hand.

Well done Tommo getting paid, did you have inside info there might be trouble?

I had a tip off, I mean it was nothing solid and certainly nothing I would risk posting as it could ruin an innocent persons reputation, however, it meant I was concerned enough to chase up the money.

Seems ludicrous that posts condoning taking action into your own hands with a cricket bat are not removed, yet investors sensibilities are protected so fiercely. Of course it's not a nice feeling having done off a wedge, however, we need to be aware how foolish we look to anyone not involved and expect some ribbing. So many diversions, moaning about betfair etc, investors just need to think coherently about what is in their best interests, imho threatening Blatch, or allowing posts doing so to be aired on a public forum is  not wise.

Did a  substantial chunk on this, all rather embarrassing, I was so lackadasical investigating it properly. Thanks to the chap who compiled the contrast between Blatch's accounts and reality. Am rather grateful it wasn't a friend who did this to me though, you have my sympathy and I do feel your conduct ITT has been a credit to yourselves. Am no legal expert, but it seemed v. unlikely to me that the police would take much notice of this, will follow it with interest though.

I'd like Blatch to come and post ITT, I don't feel threatening posts are likely to help the situation.
