Interesting snapshot of poker 10 years ago.

Does David still play poker? Is Lucy Rocach still crushing the live scene?

G has a very decent crowd, the Rainbow just over the Severn bridge has a decent tourney most evenings with the UKIPT kicking off this week, could be worth a visit.

Any news on the schedule for August's deep stack yet?

Can we lower the min players required in the $27.50 $120 PokerFest sats?

It's currently set at 6 with a guarantee of $120 which doesn't make any sense. 4.8 players required to hit the guarantee so setting them to 3 min players required will get more of them running, they'll usually get 5-8 runners once they run. Setting them at 6 won't get any oft he earlier ones kicked off.

Cheers

Have all of the $550 sats been cancelled today?

There are 5 of us needing to win a $550 seat in order to complete the ironman challenge, however it's been impossible as they're all getting cancelled, which is a shame having spent all week grinding on Party trying to complete the ironman challenge.

Yeah as it's tonight so would be cool if you could get clarification.

Cheers.

If you play and win the 30 seat PokerFest satty tonight...

a) Can the $500 seat won be used to enter the Aug Deepstack (eg not the PokerFest main at the end of Aug)?
b) Does it count towards the ironman challenge?

Cheers,

Just FYI, for the last 2 days the $27.50 $5k has been cancelled, making it impossible for anyone needing that challenge to complete the iron man, especially when it's their final one to complete.

Do we know if Party have any plans to allow players to play more than one table on mobile devices?

Cheers.

Did I read somewhere that players are able to play online day 1s and then pick a month in which they want to play their day 2 stack?

If so is this still the case?

Cheers.

online day one Stacks must be used for the July Deepstack.

DTD Tickets are the flexible ones (http://www.dusktilldawncasinonottingham.com/news/ticket-tourneys/2475), you are not be automatically entered into an event, players have full flexibility and choice on how to use their DTD ticket

DTD Tickets do not expire for 12 months from the date the DTD Ticket was won

Excellent, thanks for your help Smiley

Same policy re if they hit the gte the 1k can be carried over?

Confirmed.

So if you already have a seat via PokerStars, assuming the guarantee is met you could use your first £1,100 ticket won via Party for 3x £330 shots at the UKIPT Cup (for example).

You can do this even if the tournament doesnt make guarantee.  The only way you would lose your seat by not playing it is it you hadnt entered the tournament at all.  If you play it because you won a seat elsewhere, you wont lose your DTD/Party ticket

^^^ This is how I thought it worked, but Glenn's previous post seemed to suggest otherwise.  Hoping this is right, as I'll play more of the sats over the weekend.

Awesome if true, although during the UKPC people were opting not to enter the live sats as were told their seat would be forfeited should the guarantee not be met. Regardless it won't be an issue this time due to the fact Stars are behind it and they'll comfortably field 1,000 players.

Big shout out to DTD for offering up endless streams for which to contact them, the only issue comes with inconsistency of information.

During the UKPC nobody really knew what they could do with their tickets, some where told they could save them if they couldn't make it, others were told they'd expire, others were told they'd expire if the guarantee wasn't hit, one DTD regular posted on Facebook saying he was told he could split his ticket/s in whichever way he chose regardless of the guarantee.

Is there a consistent message in terms of tickets won to specific tourneys? Take the DTD £330 this weekend, if you're unable to make it can we simply keep the credit and use it for another £330 in the future? Or use it as money off a bigger buyin?

Appreciate DTD are giving away tickets for fun at the moment so there may not be a rule set in place, but it would great if there was a rule set in stone.

Thanks in advance, it's by no means a dig, more of a recommendation, I fully appreciate the service DTD offer the UK Poker community is world class and we'd be lost without them.
