Why didn't they sign Higuin in Jan from Napoli ? Rumour was he could've been on his way to Chelsea if they said he'd be gtd to start, sign him, give him the gte, almost a lock to win the lge.

Btw, how much did Pelligrini spend last Summer alone ? Interesting he gets 0 shit for how City aren't winning a very soft Prem Lge.

Regards the quality of the Lge, the gulf between the top sides hasn't been bigger for 10-15 years min, all Eng teams close to drawing dead for Champions Lge every sesaon for a few now. Barca/Bayern/Real at least all miles ahead of all Eng sides, just so much stronger.

Yes but their leagues are walkovers where they have about 10 tough matches a season. Can rotate when needed and have all their best players fresh for the bigger games, ours are all patched up going into european nights.

Much prefer the prem where every game is competitive even if that does mean we lose out in europe and with the national team

Stars bigger $5.50, 9k runners, 35k gtd.

With 1000 runners remaining, average chips, it seems to me that my equity would be like, $35, or with 70 left it would be £500.

Is that right, is it that simple?

Kind of.

First one you can just do 9x5 which is 45.  Everyone starts with 5.  9000/1000 x 5 = 45

70 left you can reduce 9000/70 to 900/7.  That is 130ish.  Multiply 5 by 130 is 650.

So when you say kind of what you actually mean is no. Smiley

With 70 left why isn't it 35000/70 = 500?

I may be wrong but you're using the guarantee, that number has been surpassed now due to the amount of runners, hence why doobs numbet is bigger

Looked very good today. The front 3 of bojan, arnautovic and shaqiri cut them apart

Nice to see the media recognising Palace for the right reasons, which is more than can be said for Roy Hodgson.

I consider myself to be a fair judge of Palace players (actually couldn't believe that someone said Jason Puncheon should be in the England squad - he is so over-rated it is ridiculous).
However.....Jesse Lingard has 2 decent performance and finds himself elevated to the England squad in front of Zaha.
And Scott Dann has probably been in the top 3 most consistent centre backs in the last 18 months yet still finds himself nowhere near the squad - if he played for Spurs he would be in it!!

agree on Dann

same for Danny Drinkwater, if he played for a big club, would be in

Shawcross ahead of Dann? Ignoring recent injury

Love this thread especially at derby time. Please post tips if you get a chance so i can have a sweat.

Riverside Pat got a chance?

They all have a chance it is 33/1 the field!  It's like the grand national times three. Anything can win this donkfest. An a6 Romford grader won it last year.

Perfect. I'll throw a couple of darts and hope for the best.
