I might be a clown but I know more about football than to ever think Salzburg would be available @ 6's against anyone in the Austrian league.

Funnily enough odds checker has his next permanent UK destination down as Liverpool. Bingo bango!

I'd buy that for a dollar!

Yeah he has a soft spot for Liverpool no doubt.

And restoring Liverpool would be a much bigger accomplishment for his ego than simply picking up where Fergie left off.

If he's competent then the flat obviously looks strong.

With an M of less than 11,i'm 3betting pre here for sure with a hand as vulnerable as jacks.

@ Kinboshi

Yes i've seen every Liverpool game this season both domestic and europe apart from Northampton.I agree it has been dire at times but still a bit early to write the season off imo.

I thought Hodgson was a good appointment at the time(even championed ye for a top 4 spot) but I have to admit there are signs that the job and club is too big/too much for him,it sounds strange to say that about a man with Inter Milan on his CV but football at the top level has changed a hell of a lot since the last time he was involved in it.To me he seems stressed and defensive in the media and tbh everytime I have seen him on the bench when things haven't been going well(particularly City and the first half in Trabzonspor) he has looked on the verge of a banger.

I agree with you that MON would not be the solution, much of a muchness imo.MON is vastly overrated,he is abrasive and argumentative even to his own players,he has terrible squad management(just look at Villa's record in the past 2-3 years for the months of March to May) basically because he can only seem to keep 14 players happy and then over-uses them until their legs are gone and then he is forced to call on players he has totally ignored for the past few months.

All this talk is kind of assuming Hodgson is already a lame duck though, which he very well may be if and when a takover happens.

You can't be serious that some Liverpool fans are calling for Maxi to be ahead of Kuyt? Kuyt should be the 5th name on the teamsheet everytime he is fit(after Gerrard,Torres,Carragher and Reina)

Btw I think Liverpool will get a good win against Sunderland and I fancy Torres to kick-start his season with a goal or two.

Newcastle were full value for the win,we were awful until we went down to 10.

I did think that Ryan Taylor was lucky not to go just before half-time but that's irrelevant really.

We really lacked composure and had nobody getting their foot on the ball and controlling the game,it was all just a bit hurried.

I hate criticising players but Ross Turnbull should never again wear a Chelsea shirt. It is obvious there is no confidence in him at the club
otherwise we wouldn't have been chasing down a deal for Begovic late in August. His positioning for the first goal was terrible(albeit it was
a poor goal defensively overall),I don't think he got the positioning of the wall right for the second and he then chose to position himself behind it
to compound the error, and a goalkeeper should just never be beaten like he was for the third.

The only shining light was Josh McEachran, what a performance,he showed more bravery than anyone out there, constantly wanted the ball and did
something with it the majority of the time.He really is our equivalent of Jack Wilshere(except he's a nice lad and not a knob). What a future he has ahead of him.

No complaints with the 4th goal, great delivery and a great header from Ameobi.

We suffered a slump after going out of this competition on penalties to Blackburn last season after fielding a weakend side, with big games against
City,Marseille and Arsenal coming up in the next 10 days I hope history doesn't repeat itself.

tl;dr I know

Newcastle have all the big guns on the bench.

Terry is scheduled to only play 45 minutes just to ease Bruma and PvA into the game.

Special mention to Nathaniel Chalobah who is on the bench today at 15 years old,80 days short of his 16th birthday, youngest player ever to be involved in our first team.He was playing in a training match for Boswinga today but got pulled off after 10 minutes and told he was in the squad after Borini had to withdraw.

H&G will have to sell for less than their asking price.  There are potential new owners waiting (plural), but because of H&G's delaying tactics, it'll be sometime during this season that it all happens.  Too late to rescue this season though.

?

You're 3 points off 4th having already entertained Arsenal and gone away to City and United in the first 5 games, with a new manager,3 new midfielders and one of the worlds top 5 strikers not having started playing yet.

I can understand fans wanting to play down expectations but it's far too early to be making cop-out statements like that!
13  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: Sky Sports 2 - Poker Million heat 1 on: September 16, 2010, 11:54:46 AM
I think they might have gone a bit overkill with the structure and format.

I feel like 2x 2 hour shows per heat is too much especially when it is spread over two Tuesdays airtime and even still the end of the first show and all of the second show was basically still just shove or fold poker(even though some of the players didn't seem to realise this)

Now it may just have been that this one in particular didn't have the most entertaining of lineups so I guess wait and see how the rest of the heats turn out.

I also think having it as a winner takes all final is somewhat artificial as i'd imagine there is no way in hell there will not be a deal(s) made on the final table when it's $1m for first and nothing for second.

Final table set.

Seat 1: Willie Tann - 72,000
Seat 2: Chris Bjorin - 368,500
Seat 3: Phil Laak - 317,000
Seat 4: Andrew Pantling - 627,000
Seat 5: Ilan Rouah - 200,000
Seat 6: David Peters - 251,500

I don't think he'll win but I'd love to see Phil Laak take it down.

From the reports seems like Andrew Pantling is sick good

He is.

Finished 3rd in the Irish Open 09,won the €5k HU @ Monte Carlo this year and his Poker Table Ratings as "Clockwyze" on Full Tilt isn't bad either.
