Ah I thought it was a dealer button. Don't want a card guard.

Anyone got any branded dealer buttons?

Highly unlikely I know but just in case, I'd love to buy one of these if someone had one...

Interested in any other old poker hear from the UK, chips, cards, anything...

If they'll only be used once wouldn't it be better to ask to borrow some?

Maybe a local pub league could help?

After a few years away from the game I am getting seriously hooked again, and unlike when I was a student grinder spending all my roll on beer, I now have some disposable income to play with.

The problem now is that after so long off I suck, and I have little time to practice.

My plan is to play one bigger buy-in tournament (£100-£1000 buyin depending on what's on and what I can fit in) every 4-6 weeks. I don't want to just burn my money away though, so need a plan to get a little better.

Let's say I have about an hour a day to practice/study and can go play live locally one evening every one or two weeks.

What would you do?

I'm thinking 3/4 days a week of multitabling some small stakes cash online. I know this is not tournament play but it will hopefully at least enable me to get some feel of betting patterns again.

Then one or two days a week doing a little study on tournament concepts. ICM is something that wasn't really talked about when I was playing lots 10 or so years ago.

Finally when I can play live every week or so finding the best structured local tournament to at least try and put some tournament concepts into practice.

Before anyone says it, yes I know I'm not going to be playing/studying anywhere near enough. I know this. And I am of course only playing for fun, but still it would be nice to have some game when I do.

Will there ever be edited down shows like the good old days?

I do appreciate the streams I just don't have the time to watch several hours of footage.
11  Poker Forums / The Rail / WSOPE at DTD? on: February 11, 2018, 07:38:39 PM
Would love to see another huge event in the UK. Who thinks DTD would be a great location for the WSOPE? Could it ever happen?

Tony Chapman and Tony Duffield

Both used to operate various poker clubs in the south. Do they still own any?

Do we think the EPT will come back to the UK?

Who remembers Jack Kershaw who scammed people here with his fake club? He's in trouble again and there's a picture of him http://www.echo-news.co.uk/news/15351164.Rugby_club_manager_with_gambling_addiction_jailed_over___21k_credit_card_fraud/
15  Poker Forums / The Rail / Is there ANY limit poker in the UK? on: October 18, 2017, 10:53:24 PM
I guess not if the Vic doesn't spread any limit games anymore, but just in case, does anyone know of any limit games in the UK? I'd travel a decent distance for a regular game. Any of the HORSE games, badugi, or triple draw.
