When Mrs Red discusses my hands in bed, she usually says, "Oi! Watch where you're putting those."

tez player, but does alot for poker. Hopefully he keeps up the PPA work.
does tez mean terrible? how can you say that when he plays all forms of the game and has excellent results. just hendonmobbed him just to make sure he had not just binked the wsop but unfoutunatly the laptop crashed with all the hard work it was required to do. i am the defender of the old and a nit myself

He or she meant March. Hopefully.
this is jason. wife put her £150 in for march so she can keep an eye on me. she gave a mini fist pump every time she refreshed the dtd page from 27 left when a name appeared in the pay out that was not mine. however as soon as i got home and into bed she was wanting to discuss my hands. thought i played well but she thinks i over played a couple of hands and was not aggressive enough short handed. she was also texting me when 12 handed to bust some one as it took almost 2 hours yet the money was the same as 11th and 10th.
i actually meant i would pay for you to blogg feb as tikay pointed out. was so disappointed you were not there as gouty said it was entertaining. come to think about it i thought deepstacks are gonna be televised. i am i wrong or was that once discussed. i will put my hand in my pocket at the next event i see you.

ty dik9

what a fun weekend and drive back down the M5 with some cash for a change. gotta feel for steve o keeefe who woke up with kings in bb 4 handed after i had iso 3 bet shoved from the sb A9. what a classy bloke he was when i rivered the str8.

i played a few hours with tikay at end of day 1 and enjoyed that as i always like his musings on here. it felt good to fold qq to 4 bet shove preflop and the fella shows AA and get a knowing wink from fellow "nit" tikay.

i nearly lost it 3 handed with jason cos i felt he was being personal with the banter and had already misplayed 2 big hands with him constantly jabbering on and name dropping half the UK poker glitterati every 30 seconds. thankfully he was coolered half hour in or he would of prob crushed me h/u who knows? he is such a nice guy over the rail but uber tilts me on the table lol.

poker fact of the weekend is that i played 23x 45 mins levels of poker and NEVER saw 1 misdeal/cock up.

very well done simon and team.

alex

you deserved the win alex 100%. i do have a habit of tilting people coz you tend to find that guys often fold when you are mr nice when you want them to call so if you are a  bit annoying they call coz they have the hump with you. thats also the reason i wear the hoodies. the young lady  on the final was un lucky on her exit hand too. i think she never knew you had raised / shoved and her AJ was also ahead. bit ironic  i lost with Alister James having had that hand 9 times onf/t myself. wp again soon and am sure we will play another final soon

Hmmmm strange session last night. Won £400 in 1/2 and 50/1 then lost 2k at 2/5 which I was 100% staked for with no makeup so bizarrely ended up still winning £400 for the day but was pretty down after some of the stuff that happened @ 2/5. In the past two days have ran pretty horrible at 2/5 - twice losing allin situations for £1k+ pots once with 74% equity, once with 56%. Then AKdd vs 55 on T6586 ddd, then the two hands mentioned above. And that was gg ~2.5k.

Had a bad night on Saturday too, had my first experience of actual tilt since being a pro. Tried to get a fish to fold JJ on a T high board in a 3bet pot for a massive allin bet on the turn, which I knew was a huge amount of money to him but he still called and I missed my 5 outs. He then said, "I thought you had kings or queens there mate". So that sent me over the edge, was pissed off with myself for the bluff, because I learnt like a year ago to stop doing things like that vs fish. Did £200 spin on roulette which I've never done before and just felt generally like a twat. Came clean to Hannah, that sure went well.

Anyway, having a day off today. Then going Leeds tomorrow night to stay with lildavefish suuPRlim whooo.
take a window fitter with you

hi all. 3rd was good seeing as i returned 1/2 average day 2. ran good played good. mrs herbert is very willing to make a good contribution (from her 50% managers fee) to the blogg  fund as she really enjoys following the action as it happens. the event is def lacking when you guys  are not there.

yes i dont know how much it costs for blonde to be at dtd but the benefits to both parties are massive. i cant see any draw backs at all other than the financial aspect were obv the team need paying a wage and rob not being able to afford this (joke obv). my wife would be the first person to chuck some beans into the pot to have blonde covering the deepstack so then 1. she knows where i am and at what time i should be home. and 2.  how much she has to spunk on internet shopping as she is on 50% as my manager. usually has to twist my ears before i tell her how much i actually cashed but i wil continue to keep trying to grim her

If you can just get us back into the grosvner, I'll happily support the tour, tyvm in advance
wtf you banned for dreenie? smacking the door staff in sheff G only gets you 6 months but can be reduced on appeal if you do your nuts (brains in your case) at the tables

your comments are valid and you continue to be respected by the majority of players in this country geoff. i agree zac is excellent and my personal gripe is with ian and not really the gukpt. ian continues to make stupid rulings that are at best wrong. i think on a p.r. level dena would be good for the tour and you wont have too many people in the manchester area wanting to put here in the boots of their cars when they disagree with her decision. i also feel that there are not enough chances to win seats and when you ante up £2500 for the vic in dec and £1000 for manchester it puts a big dent in the roll if you dont cash. i have always maintained that the gukpt is by far the strongest tour event in this country due to the higher number of pro players but people can only take so much before they say enough is enough and dont ante up

camel sorry this aint personal but to post this   It is a dire waste of money and almost obscene to flaunt wealth in this way when there is so much poverty in the UK/the world.  when you gamble/play poker for a living is a ridiculous statement.

I have to say IMO you're way off the mark here - there is no reason to say that people who play poker for a living flaunt wealth any more than the next person

A lot of pro players work extremely hard, just as you do, poker isnt a frivolous, wasters job, it';s a lifestyle which despite it's perks (which are more obvious than the downsides) takes a huge amount of commitment and hard work to make successful.

And yh, unless I've done my bullocks in im snaping the upgrade, first class is incred sick plus I literally HATE waiting for stuff

dave you aint got no passport...so you aint getting on no plane fooollll. sorry just watching mr t killing rocky

Why say you are unbiased when you obviously are.  You are being petty trying to rubbish an excellent tour whilst trying to big up your dying one.

I hope channing answers the phone.
Bam, jaffa, will introduce you both in 2 weeks in brum Smiley
obv has apoint tho cos...the stacks for alternates was a complete fuck up day 1a. i think geoff is flogging a dead horse if he thinks anything other than stars taking over is gonna happen. also with dtd having more £1k monte carlo events then this will undoubtedly kill off gukpt. jon rabb aint no rat but the old saying about sinking ships etc. imo only thing that can save gukpt is appointing super dena as head honcho. zac for 2nd in command and let ian be sharky or valet.
