Tried last week and wasted a tenner with 4 out of 6 teams scoring.

Put a fiver on this week on:

Wolves vs Hull - 1-1
Barnsley vs Reading - 1-3
Sheff Utd vs West Brom - 2-2
Kilmarnock vs St Mirren - 1-2
Man Utd vs Arsenal - 2-1
and St johnstone vs hearts 2-2

At 33/1, nice 165 profit

Counted up the games on the coupon to see how many games both teams score and from Sat and Sunday this week there was 26 games on the coupon with 16 of them where both teams scored.

Just thought i'd create a thread for people to leave their opinions and tips of this weekends football.

I fancy Sunderland away to Stoke and Preston away to Ipswich both at 2/1. Whats your thoughts on these?

Also Man Utd v Arsenal. Worth betting on or to unpredictable? WHo do u fancy here?

The reason its the weakest draw in a long time is because the new playoff Structure in qualifying

It puts 2 good teams together in the qualifying e.g Arsenal celtic, fiorentina v sporting. So the small countries, who dont have a team in it all ready (eg Romania, cyprus, isreal, hungery etc) dont have to play teams like Arsenal and Athletico to get in. Means that Pot 4 will be really weak for years to come if they keep this qualifying structure

Rangers got a great draw. Dont underestimate that Romanian team tho. Look at Cluj last year, romanian football is on the up, they will be tough over there i reckon

I've got the blackberry bold, not too sure about apps but the screen definition is immense, can easily watch a whole film on it. Downloaded a few games and songs and all is good. up to 5 emails is great and pinning a friend is class

Dont know if defo the weakest. Agree thats it is between us AZ and CSKA. Would have liked pot 3 and hope to get Madrid but we now have a great chance of the knock out stages.

Bayern/Sevilla

Bordeaux

FC Zurich please Smiley

Reading this thread is winding me up a bit.

There are several kids who play football right in front of our house (and several others) cos we're in a cul de sac.  My wife takes care of her garden and these little feckers occasionally miskick the ball busting a flower here and there, to the point where my wife was in tears saying "no one gives a shit or has any respect for other peoples stuff".  Obviously directed at the parents.

For me, I never played football in the street, always 50yds away on some grass bit away from cars etc

The problem for me in our street is that we're surrounded by people/families who rent, and I just feel that this lot just aren't bothered about looking after their own stuff, so why would they give a shit if they're bothering the neighbours and trampling a few plants here and there.

I'm only in my 30's but I was brought up to respect other peoples stuff and if my dad saw me "accidentally" kick a ball against a car, I'd be in, with a thick ear!

For the record, I've got kids but when they're old enough to be in the street, there will be no football, end of! (and I love the game)

I work hard, and I like a quiet life, and the noise of screaming kids and the sight of a football going through my flowers just breaks me to the point of wanting to commit murder!

Rant over!

No you dont

Let ur kids play football.

The end

Looks obviously pre planned with blokes in their 40's waving their "troops" towards police lines.

Makes me laugh when blokes on the front line goad the police, and when there is a surge they put up their arms "don't hit me don't hit me mr riot policeman!"

FFS

looks obviously pre planned?Huh?Huh?

of course if is, if they werent planned they would just be normal fights. This is the way football casuals work. You never seen football factory, green street or cass?

It's a call. No raise announced, if you just put ur chips in without uttering a word its a call no matter how many individual chips you put in

I completely agree mate. Kids on my (quiet) street play footie all the time, hit the ball off my car (by mistake) etc but that doesnt bother me. I played footy on the streets when i was young and loved it.

kids should play footie in the street, old woman should be in homes

Carling cup is no good for betting. always weird and wonderful results. Maybe stick a few underdogs on a double from 4 coupon as theres always a few shocks. Stick 4-1s up to 8-1s on. Most chance of these winning in a carling cup match
