1  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: DEAL OR NO DEAL on: February 08, 2012, 07:38:04 PM
When I first started playing at DTD it was only ever NO DEALS. I wasn't sure to begin with whether it was a good thing - turned out I liked it. DTD is a one of a kind club (that's why we play there) and this rule, in a typically deal-minded norm, made a nice change. Rarely were deals done in the car park and if they were, so what? I expect that whatever decision you make Rob that people, who appreciate the club, will still play. C

There was no rubdown intended and what I just said to you at the table was genuine. Good luck!

Alex apologies for the £2 gag. Unfortunately you got caught in the crossfire of a hand history with Shaun from years ago which had come up in conversation earlier on in the day. Ftr I do peel 55 and 22, and against you (based on the hands you played in this session) I probably do check raise AQ. You got your chips in good and got unlucky. However 95% of the time that I ch raise I've got the nuts. I think you could have got away from the hand. You'd invested £59 into a pot that ended up costing you £260. See you soon!

Sighhh. Was up £350 within an hour or so tonight, wish I'd booked the win! Went on an 900 swing and lost 550 for the night. Chillin in the bar now, gonna call it a night now I reckon. Played the best I've played all week as well, was up 1k for the week until tonight lol. Lost two big pots, TT vs K4hh allin on Q52hh in 3bet pot, carla goddard cold calling the 3bet there with K4 and getting there. Then J9 vs Q9 on JT7K8 in 3bet pot vs Sean King. Cheers for the slowroll buddy.

And before that people just had sets every hand vs me! Once I had 2nd set vs top set, once KK vs 77 on 7high flop, once AK vs 55 on A5xx. Made one spewy bluff for £75 and walked into a set again. Other than that minispew, really happy with how I played. SIGH @ results though. Nvr mind, feel fine about it.

Looking forward to playing the £100 comp tomorrow, DTD is bustling these days, 175runners for the £15 comp tonight! Still not a bag up top though!

she loves to moan about bad beats

You know me too well - or maybe you used to! Anyway there was a reason I called with the K4 and it was a one off. If I have time later and can be bothered, I will post the full story

Well there you go then,an ugly exit for James Tomlin who jumped up and walked over a poker table behind him to get the hell out of there

The table was not in use you will be relieved to know

Chip counts to follow when we have them

How often do you see a game of poker played on a chair - which is what I am told he jumped over lol

And then there were 10

James Tomlin raises to 25000, Ricky Macintosh then makes it 50k from the bb.

James shoves 160,000 and Ricky contemplates and then says 'I have too much in there' and calls for over 1/3 of his chips.

James shows   and Ricky turns over

lol live poker

Just the kind of comment you always hear from donks

If that question is directed at me - I was referring to 'I have too much in there'

Maybe some rebranding or marketing is overdue. I was under the impression that Blonde was a poker forum. All I've seen in the last couple of months is scandal after scandal.

Anyone got a bad beat story they wanna get off their chest?

I may be going against the tide here but I just do not understand the fuss about Megan Fox. Her face looks made of plastic and there are plenty of skinny girls who parade around in their pants who are better looking.

this

don't find her attractive whatsoever. i mean just look at that top pic ffs. i'd be running away as fast as i could.

Don't find Megan Fox attractive? This is confirmation that you are, indeed, not lesbian Smiley
