Read some stuff about not feeling the spot so ok to avoid. But good villain sitting a few to the left is the spot we're facing the whole game.
yh think i agree with this to an extent. I think 99 is way too strong a hand to fold here, and trigg is going to be to our left every hand, so maybe we shouldnt open 99 in the first place if were raise folding to triggs 3bet? @dubai, agree about not folding any of them hands, hence why i picked them.

pretty sure this was my first 3 bet on the table all day, was going to the streets heaps
Second, your previous one was worth me right after I got crippled. At Marc, no offence taken but given its oop to one of the strongest players in the field I disagree to the tongue in cheek remarks. Probably peel TT fold 44/JsTs (fml) Peel QQ and never fold or just 4b get in can't decide, 4/6/8/10 AK. I think my initial thought was 4b seems ok, call ok, don't fold then; went to 4betting awful stacksizes nasty not 4/6ing in this 1k here, why 4fold Call- Sweet ass hand to do it, fantastic price etc, Trigg has all the golden reasons to unload the clip though, perfect image, opponent and situation Fold- And don't tell anyone. Unfortunately my nittiness got on my mind. I feel like I was uncomfortable on the streets so decided to fight another day. Trigg possibly backed this up by saying he gets wool vs blondes/was going to the streets. Don't worry it did feel super dirty. At least this is a solid image post on my behalf. Dave; Understand your comments completely, but it had been playing on my mind a fair bit. I hadn't had any other interesting hands. I also wanted to know if it was implausibly bad, because this is probably my first fold in this spot in my life. I've been making some silly folds lately imo, and it had to be checked out somewhere, I expected the correct level of bluntness in the topic for me to get the message. I do think the live situational reads are really hard to convey. I would have just pmed trigg but he had a few days play to forget this preflop 3bet spot. dont think there is a huge different between TT and 99 in this spot, yet ur calling TT?

The word you probably meant then was competent, meaning he understands ranges to some degree. Can describe him as good in relation to field I guess but that certainly fits in the competent criteria
Just think loads of your recent posts appear to overrating players ability. Not everything is as clear cut as that either, ie playing epts etc, I think you're way off on this read on this player but that's only my opinion and I probably underrate everyone. Just think you will end up overestimating people's ability and playing incorrectly against them because of it
boris becker plays ept's m8 :-)

and how wide do we go?
Think 88+ and AJ+ seems good. Maybe KQs as well. dont mean this offensively in any way, but do u play the stars 100r often? i would NEVER 5/call kqs or AJ in this spot. However mental he / she is, i think its REALLY optimistic to think there going to go mad and 6b blast it in for 75bb effective at 100/200 with worse hands. I think probably TT and AQ are bottom of get in range here, but would depend on my history with them obv.

Not fish. It's probably weak because Sam grafting did it to him and he hero folded. But who knows.
Way off the mark in regards to why I called a clock. I'll post my thoughts on this hand when doobs gives results. I actually liked my line in this hand fwiw. And agree with Alex's comments l

Good luck to all the heroes left in.
But special run good wishes to 2 all time gambling legands, Jeff Duval and Paul Alterman.
When I grow up I want to be just like these one of these two.
Love them both, would be lovely if either win, especially Jeff, who has been so helpful to me over many years, & taught me much of what I know about Omaha. What a life he leads, too, saunters up to The Vic most days, wins a chunk of cash, goes back home, & is the GIQ King. He told me he has been away for a while holidaying, so yh some life he leads. Real nice guy, and was surprised by how well he played Coolest 60+ year old guy I know, even has crucial hats. I want to be as cool as him when I am his age. Told me he had 3 kids older than me, and that the year i was born (87) there was a huge market crash and he lost every penny he had, and every penny he didnt, so the moment i was born, i had more money than him. Certainly a character, and as i said previous a really solid player too.
