Is there really 10 people that pm'd you to agree with you?

Seems pretty sad if that's true.

Not from the point of agreeing with you, but from the point of view about being wary of agreeing with you on a poker forum.
I Pm'd Pads not as i agreed with him or from being wary of agreeing with him outwardly and my pm was just a general fanboy question but I do feel he gets a lot of flak at times when he is just genuinely imo just a passionate person about pokers obv and this forum in general and someone who gives an awful lot to this forum as does Alex and many others.

Obv am fanboys of both!!

How much u get paid mate ?

I wish I could ignore it all pleno but you post 50-100 times a day in every thread on the forum, so it's kind of hard. I like many others have tried to ignore and keep the peace but I cracked lately. Will go back to biting my tongue every minute of every day.

Agreed ! He's like Jason Herbert , posting 100-150 post per day . Lol
127  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: WHY PROS ALWAY SAY " FIELD IS SO SOFT" on: November 06, 2013, 11:06:07 AM
Frankie, by your answer it shows you do get it... Most people seeking staking arent doing it because they feel they are inferior to the field. They are doing it because they dont have the roll, or dont want to invest the amount required due to external factors, or are realistic as to their true odds of beating the field/variance.

So what they trying to do is influence the staker that the field is beatable by saying that ? Ok got u ! Thanks

Spotted on Twitter earlier this morning......

Tony Kendall (Tikay) ‏@Tony_Kendall 53m
@ryanriess, @WSOP Main Event Champ. Now you can be the @SkyPoker UK Poker Champion @dusk_till_dawn next February. Your seat is reserved!

PS - And no, I don't expect a reply, a million to one against, but no harm in asking. Think his presence would be staggeringly good for UK Poker as a whole, with wide media coverage & all sorts.

Congrats to the fella, anyway, the Final was rubbished by the 2+2 hard cases who seem to live in their insular poker bubble, but how can anyone not be pleased for him?

Fancy waking up today with that stash of money on the bed. His life has changed forever.

He will reply your tweet later mate . He's still counting his $$$$$ at the moment . Give him a chance to read his tweeter account later .
129  Poker Forums / The Rail / Re: WHY PROS ALWAY SAY " FIELD IS SO SOFT" on: November 06, 2013, 09:16:44 AM
Seems quite simple to me Frankie,  they state that the field is "soft" to give the impression that they, the big "pro" are at a considerable advantage due to their much higher skillset, and therefore are have a much better chance of winning/cashing during the tournament.

This can then lead to them wanting to charge a higher markup as the backer is getting much better odds on their investment.

Doesn't stop a 1% river card coming in for a "fish" who has satallited in and is contributing to the softness though. But thats a different thread really

Still don't get it . If the field is easy , why sell and not invest  the lots by themself ? They don't have to share the cake if they knew they can beat the field . Still don't get it ! #CLUELESS

It's always easy to say how bad player played when we watching on tele . It's always difficult to play live in big occasions . They playing for lots of $$$$$$$ . If they are laddering , that's standard !

Looks like this diary will be coming to a close.

Really tough for me to write. Last 2 months or so have been terrible, life expenses have been through the roof and have been running absolutely terribly in the live cash games.  Last month was my worst ever month losing 23/29 sessions and most of them for at least one full buyin. Don't feel like I've changed my game or "punting it in" so to speak but to have such a drastic change of results is extremely worrying.

This month no change, 3 out of 4 losing sessions and the only win was due to a big cooler.

Online has been a grind, one I'm not enjoying either, just something I've never enjoyed as much as playing live.

Probably give a few more thoughts tomorrow, just watching the WSOP main before bed. Probably better for me to watch instead of play right now.

Don't have to quit the game u like mate . Just have a break at the moment or just probably find some work to do before coming back . Maybe moral are not high after 23/29 sessions . We all understand that poker are very very high risk & the swing are alway massive . Sometimes I really hate it to but u know that as Alex say #Lovethegame. Hope everything will be fine for u soon . I will ring n tweet Jason Mercier ( your Bud ) for u & ask him to tweet u !! Gl bud
