Posh to finish above Doncaster 8-13 Skybet is a MAX.
Or stick it in a double with Pompey top six @ 4-5.
Can’t disagree with this bet, Doncaster have lost 4 or 5 of the best players, and rumours around that Marquis will be sold can only help the vet

We were looking to take on Donny this season right?
Baldy has stuck them in a seasonal match bet v the mighty Poshies and are 10-11 each of two.
They have the teams pretty close in outright betting (11-1 Posh, 12-1 Donny) but Poshies are as short as 9-1 in a place, with Donny as big as 20-1 with Choral.
Feels like this should be a chunky one? Let's go for the MAXXXXXXXXXXXX
We have 20-1 Doncaster to be relegated We have Peterborough to be promoted We have a Peterborough player to be league one golden boot Peterborough are going to score 100s of goals this season ergo, a maximum on the match bet does seem appropriate £220.00 Single Market Selection Price Hcp League One 2014/2015 - Season Match Bets Doncaster V Peterborough Peterborough 10/11 Total stake £ 220.00 Estimated return £ 420.00 Full stake £ 220.00 Full estimated return £ 420.00 Chompy, have to agree on the match bet as a max. Few things going on at the moment selling Husband to Boro for reported 500K, and hoping to keep a few players, so maybe not as grim as I first thought. However just cant help thinking that after first 11 the squad is very bare, so happy with the bets put up previously. Will be having some of this myself.

Its looking like Doncaster will be in for a tough season. Only 11 players on the books at the moment. Captain and best player Richie Wellens just said on radio Sheffield @jonathanbuchan: Wellens 'We had agreed terms & thought I was going to stay, but I don't think manager has the funds to get other players to compete' #DRFC
@jonathanbuchan: Wellens 'now looks unlikely that myself and the other lads (trialists and out of contract players) are going to stay' #drfc
@jonathanbuchan: Wellens on Dickov 'Someone I have got a lot of respect for and believe in time he will be a good manager, but working with hands tied' #DRFC
@jonathanbuchan: Wellens told me he agreed to stay at the end of the season and has turned down a Champ club, all on basis of Ryan/Tomlinson takeover #drfc
On this basis think the 11/8 Yeovil on opening game looks good, so recommend £20 at 11/8, and also £10 on Doncaster to be relegated at 20/1 (Tote, Baldfred and Betway)
Looks like being a tough season as a Donny supporter!!!

^ Like this horsey.
The top three in the market, Assombalonga, surly Baldock and Garner, are all possibles to move on in January, if not before. After that it's 16-1 bar and there are plenty towards the top end of the list I couldn't have on my mind at all. For example, neither Nicky Ajose nor Erhun Oztumer should be above Conor Washington among the Poshies. Conor and Britt is our strike-force for the season and there might not be much between them this time.
Think we should start building a League One portfolio.
£5 EW AJ Leitch-Smith, 200-1 Freesiksfive (down to horsey) £5 EW Jonson Clarke-Harris, 100-1 BMU (down to me) £10 EW Conor Washington, 40-1 Billies (down to me)
Any love for Theo Robinson at 66-1? Donny unlucky to go down last year, and he will be the main man there this year after they sold Chris Brown to Blackburn? Donny ST holder here, and whilst Theo might get a few, supporters are seriously worried ATM, no agreement on playing budget, no keeper yet on the books, last nights friendly away at Conference Grimsby none of the players from last season who were out of contract played due to ongoing player budget problem (did win 4-0 though!!!) As it stands the 11/8 Yeovil for opening game looks attractive. Going to wait a little longer before doing a recommend on it though.

Humour someone who watches golf half a dozen times a year. Why is Westwood such a big price?
I recognise he doesn't win majors, but he's not bad at placing. If the weather is bad, won't that slow the greens down? If so, that would help him two-putt more easily, if he can have more confidence than if the ball he's hit an inch wide is going forty feet past and into a ravine. His greens in regulation stats must be up there with the best, right?
One for a top six place bet?
The reason for Westwoods price is Achilles heel is his chipping/scrambling from off the green. He is capable of going low, however over 4 rounds its hard to fancy him

This Saturdays game in the championship Doncaster v Middlesboro. Rovers season ticket holder here, and just cannot believe the price of 29/10 at home for this game. Just hitting a bit of form now with 7 points from last 9./ Last 2 home games against Wigan and Charlton both ended in 3-0 wins. Defence was a shambles when we played them earlier in season, but now settled back 4 has only let in only 1 in 3 games. Think it will be a tough game, but nearly 3/1 at home looks a bit of value. Thoughts?
Can only see 14/5 available (with BV) but think it's still a bet at that. Can I suggest a £10 at 14/5 with BetVC

Review of game tonight: -
Keeper - Turnbull (hardly troubled)
Defence - Kept Rhodes and co down to 1/2 chances
Midfield - This is for you tighty because Wellens was pure class again all night
Attack - Caused problems all night
Thoroughly deserved win Blackburn lot of possession without troubling keeper

Likely DRFC line up. Ross Turnbull - Signed 1 day before the first league game. Paul Quinn - On the fringes throughout last season, forced in to the first team due to injuries/players leaving. Bongani Khumalo - Joined very late in pre season on loan from Spurs. Rob Jones © James Husband 19 year old, very little first team experience, youth team player thrown in due to lack of options/injuries. David Cotterill Richie Wellens - Again signed a short term deal the day before the season started having being released by Leicester. Dean Furman - Played on Tuesday night for SA at home v Nigeria. Will almost certainly have to start, no other options. Mark Duffy - Unproven at this level, big step up having signed from Scunthorpe late on in pre season. James Coppinger Theo Robinson - Signed yesterday afternoon from Derby, in line to start tonight. Bench - Not much ! --------- I think if this game was played 100,000 times, Blackburn would win more than 500,000 times. That makes 7/4 a really good price, right? Reccy punter logic Recommend some money on Blackburn to win @ Doncaster tonight @ 7/4 ! (365/totesport/berfred) Wellens has been training with the squad all summer, Husband is extremely well regarded at the club. Quinn has made plenty of appearances in the SPL/Championship before so not sure about inexperienced. However, you got in early enough to beat the price. Wouldn't read much into the home record from last season either. Didn't say Quinn was inexperienced :/ 46 games over 3+ seasons at this level before being released by Cardiff isn't much though. SPL yes, different league though. Wouldn't have been a starter until Spurr left & Mccoombe got injured the week before the season. More disruption. Wellens pre season amounted to 45 minutes v Bradford in the final friendly 6 days before the season started. Wont even be match fit today. Needs must While some of your points are well reasoned, cant agree too much with a few of them: - Firstly Turnbull - it was good to see a keeper with presence, and will be a big asset this season Defence - Quinn would have played all season except for getting injured, and Husband made quite a few appearances and is a good player in the making Midfield - Wellens was sheer class against Blackpool, cant see Furman starting after playing in SA and there are other options Attack - No way will Brown not start Although we lost against Blackpool, it was a harsh defeat after a decent performance. Will admit that goals will be a big problem for Donny, but expect it to be a decent game. Pressure is sure to be on Blackburn more than Donny after 1 point from 2 games, so in my opinion the bookies have this game priced about right Time will tell

Apparently there is an injury crisis at Tranmere and they are away at Doncaster at the weekend.
The fans are moaning about their luck with injuries, they have had to bring in players who are now injured and now go away to the top of the league!
I think we are onto a good thing here regardless of form and I am very happy with EVS due to how both teams are performing and the injury crisis at Tranmere, but I think EVS is very good for Doncaster at home to Tranmere.
Just some of Tranmere's last 6 results away from home...
LLLLWD - in those 4 loses (which are most recent and draw is less recent) they have scored zero goals
Guys,
Season ticket holder at Donny. It looks like we have finally sorted out the problem area of centre midfield. This has been the main weakness. Not heard about Tranmere injury probs, but even without that can't think of any reason to put you off the bet.
Doncaster last 6 at home...
WDWDDL
I like this bet and I think EVS is very good here.
Suggest £100 on Donny @ EVS
was going to post almost the same am not a massive fan of donny but tranmere are really paying for there small squad now reckon donny will be odds on come the weekend
