Ironically it is the marginal runners that cop and get me half of my stake back. In these kind of bets ther three times the odds one winner in a lucky 15 is worth quite a bit because by multipying the advantage of the place parts we are getting better value and the three times the odds the win element if only one winner along with the 100%bonus if 4 winners means that the losses on the win element are reduced yet further. Ofg course trying to find four runners can be hard although there are days when there are a lot of them and you have to perm them all up and it can get quite expensive.

I got £100 e/w Headsontheground without any trouble this morning at 11/2.
FWIW I have also had an e/w Lucky15 including this, Lidar in 335 Chelt, Tiger Hawk 1200 Southwell and Elusive fame in 250 Southwell. Last two are probably close to being place value too and a non runner in either of those races would definitely mean they were value but the 3x odds one winner and other bonuses with the multiple made it +EV.

if any of you lot can get decent bets on these bad e/w races then you have been doing it wrong.
Trigg is right, but anything up to £100 ew the bookies will sigh a little bit, shrug their shoulders a bit. Only if you try and get £500+ on will you struggle. That's not true for everyone though Mr Camel. A lot of accounts are changed to win only, while others capped at, say, £25 each-way. I haven't used any of my fixed odds accounts for ages but still wouldn't fancy my chances at being able to get £100 each-way on a second-fav behind an odds-on jolly. Shops are easily your best bet for this kind of bet. Online they will cut you down very quickly although I did hear of a punter that was backing the jolly each way in races like this (which also has value on occasions) with Hills and lasted a long time. Avoid BetFred and Corals shops in general and, if possible, spread it about a bit. Below £25 e/w if okay at any shop. They are also not great at understanding which races the advantages are in. For example there are very few places that won't take a big bet on a 16/17 runner handicap but an 8 runner race with a 1/4 jolly and 9/2 second in is always going to be a struggle for anything more than £25 e/w and I have been knocked back for that before.

Most value bets I've seen on a Saturday's football for ages.
Lay Man Utd @ 1.39 Lay West Ham @ 1.83 Back Bristol City @ 2.5 Back Scunthorpe @ 3.7 Back Peterbrough @ 3.55
Think I like Peterbrough the most. Middlesbrough aren't 2.24 to beat anyone at home, let alone away imo.
I hope my donation to the Jimmy Choo syndicate softens the blow xxx I feel like Scottish Dave I went to the Peterboro game yesterday and your bet was certainly a good value loser despite Boro going in front twice. One thing to bear in mind when betting Peterboro' at home is that a lot of the bigger championship clubs haven't had a game where they can stand on terraces for years and, yesterday at least, it was a big draw and Middlesbrough took a lot more fans and created a better atmosphere than I have heard at a Boro away game for a couple of years. If this is replicated with other clubs it might lessen Posh's home advantage a little. On another note, Middlesbrough would have lost that game 2-0 a couple of weeks ago because they never had anyone of Kitsons quality to finish those kind of chances....they might improve from here on in although yesterday was still poor goalscoring has been the real problem.

I think what has probably happened is that all of the small skins have become a victim of their size.
A while ago a few of the bigger gamning companies realised that, after adding poker rooms, their casino and sportsbetting profits were going down and the reason for this was that poker had become so popular that many of their biggest and most valuable players were playing a lot of poker and losing money. Because they were losing to these horrible good poker players they then had less money left to be able to lose in their online casinos and on the horses, football etc and all they were getting in recompense was a tiny amount of rake and when they are members of networks that money isn't even going to someone that is one of their customers and often it is simply going into the back pocket of a poker pro. This was the reason some big sportbetting sites left networks and, I would guess, has led them to put pressure on the networks to cut down on the winning players especially those coming from smaller cardrooms like blonde. Of course these big gaming firms don't have the intelligence to actively go out and get big rakers and inbcrease their revenue that way. It is very shortsighted but I have been in board meetings of big gaming firms where they have discussed this problem and how to deal with it. Basically if a pro, or good player, wins they will never get a shot at that money and they don't like it so they try and feeze them out.

Couple of questions Keith.
What kind of bankroll are we talking here? as a percentage of that what would be a big bet?
NFL I hear that Bucs travelled early yesterday morning and were struggling to sleep when they arrived. Also heard the O-line want to kill Wilmslow already and that they were unable to train at Wembley this morning. Would this affect your view of game? Would you have any interest in supplying your nfl lines again? not for bookmaking firm but for personal punting use? PM if so.
