won a 5k WCOOP last night

on final table now in 10k PLO

both small fields but full of quality

the  huge chip leader is a apollo777 (gruffud pugh jones) , googled his name as never heard of him till this evening , saw on pokernews he won the WCOOP PLO main event high last year , and also the PLO main event medium on same day . took a look at his hendon mob , his PLO scores are insane last couple of years

2025 been an OK kind of year for Palace so far.

I can't see any sign of a bite Ralph although I did think of that. Will try and get the swelling down today, if no joy will get it seen to. Don't think I strained it playing golf. Sure I would have felt something. The swelling came overnight.

That looks dodgy Kev. I'd get that looked at.

I had a mate who's hand swelled up like that, but it was because he kept putting wrong dominoes in.

Today was the Saturday Medal Finals at WPGC the course was set up equally difficult with fast greens and tricky pins.

I actually played pretty well apart from a couple of holes which were absolute disasters - not what I usually do. Playing from the white tees and getting 14 shots I went out in 42 despite a horrendous 4putt seven on the 360yd 6th hole! I came back in a lacklustre 45 which included another horrendous seven on the long par4 14th. I then failed to get relatively easy up-and-downs from just short of both 16 and 18 so bogeyed both.

All in all I shot 87/14/net 73 but it really could have been a lot better and I'm encouraged by that.

Splendid stuff Uncle Ralph.

Hopefully we can have another knock round Royal Wollaton before winter sets in. 

It would be great to have another game when you get back Tony.

October will be interesting for you guys with the stags being active.

That looks nasty Kev. Is it an insect bite?

Bad news for me from the golf. Started to get a high temperature half way round which ibuprofen helped with and finished the round.

However another problem raised it's head which we all dread. No idea what happened but my hand started swelling. Can't move my fingers and it's sore as hell. more ice on it today to try and reduce the swelling.

Can't see it bein any better for my Thursday tee time 😪
