Praz Bansi has 60k and is one of our chip leaders now.
He was holding
on a
board and got check/raised on the flop, and called putting his opponent on a draw, on the
turn, his opponent pushed all-in and Praz called and was shown
by his opponent who missed the flush and gutshot draws on the river.
------------
Meanwhile, Bambos has hit the deck, all-in from the small blind with Eights for 8k, shot down by Praz's Aces in the big.

Simon Zach doubles, Andrew Andriou raised, Simon pushed in from the blinds for around 13k total, Andrew began his usual speechplay, "I think you think I was on a move...." etc etc, he eventually calls.
Andrew:
Simon:

The Bubble on around 27k now.

Andrew 'Greekfish' Andreou has doubled through courtesy of Simon Zach.
Andrew made it 2,900, Zach moved in and Andrew called for his last 5.5k.

On another table, Matt Tyler is up to 20k after his A-Qs outdrew Jim Kerrigan's A-K. Queen on the Flop.

Rob Garfield held
on a
board, big hand you'd think? Well, yes. Yes it is...
But Simon Zach was holding
and after the inevitable cavalcade of bet, raise and all-in on the flop, no more hearts came and Zach emerged unscathed and 40k in chips now. Garfield has a Zach-sized hole in his stack now but still has some chips.
---------------
As we reach the close of Day 1, Steve Jelinek is dealt a harsh blow from the Poker Gods. All-in pre-flop with Queens, Chris Gavriel manages to find trips Sixes with his A-6 on a nasty 6-T-7-6-3 board. Mr Jelinek did NOT look happy.
---------------
A Brum regular is Ram Lakha, is OUT after his Aces were beaten by Nines on a J-2-2-J-9 board, the remainding chips going in on the River.
--------------
Andrew Andreou is finally out after threatening departue for the last hour. Made his swan song with K-Qs, but ran into the Aces of Simon Zach.
