OK so me and two of my mates usually have a prop bet at homegames- we've done the following:

72 game (if u win with 72 u get money off the other two)
First to 20k in chips
Bounties on certain players (without them knowing)

We're paying each other for each successful slow roll (seeing as it's national slow roll month)

Any suggestions of what else we can do?

Go for the red or black flops.

One of you chooses red, the other black - but only after the hole cards are dealt.  If the flop comes all one colour, then it's a double the bet payout, if it's a majority colour flop, it's s single payout.

We were playing these sidebets in a SNG at Luton after Day1 of the APAT event.  It was the mad Scandie's fault!

try bookmakers hold-em in the breaks (ASK IF YOU NEED THE RULES)

try playing memory/52 card pick up for 3,000 chips per hand

try playing one card on yer head

try playing 9 card NLO8 double flop jacks are wild

not exactly prop bets, but its the recipe for any new modern funky SNG

We had the strangest of prop bets during our last home game, after a night on the town we went back to a mates flat in K2 ( its a city centre apartment block for anyone not in Leeds) for a game of poker, he live's on about the 12th floor so we went onto the balcony for some fresh air as the table was being set up. Now, this block is above one of the big night spots and as we were chatting we could here a kind of low moaning coming from the street below, it didnt take us long to spot a young couple in one of the stairwells in the office block over the road.

Now obviously I cant go into full details but they were most certainly 'at it', from steet level they couldnt be seen properly but our vantage point gave us a great view so we bet on what would 'occur' next, about 30 minutes later I had done 40 quid and as they dressed and come back to ground level we gave em a big round of applause and they both waved at us and ran away giggling!!

young uns eh....jammy gits!!!

try bookmakers hold-em in the breaks (ASK IF YOU NEED THE RULES)

I need the rules

6 Players Maximum

One person is the bookmaker, and this changes every deal in turn

Five two card hands are dealt face up for all to see

The odds are pre-determined

the first hand out..Even money

2nd - 2-1

3rd - 3-1

4th - 5-1

5th - 8-1

a stake per round is established prior to the game beginning

the other players then choose, in order, which hand they wish to back at the odds available. Once a hand is picked, other players have to choose different hands ie all of you cannot pile onto KK at 8-1!

The board is dealt out and at the end bets are settled by the bookmaker

on to the next deal, different bookmaker, next person gets to place the bet first

Of course a random deal makes it fun when say KK is dealt as the 8-1 shot and you are the bookmaker..5 ways though the bookie has a fighting chance
