Some poor bugger had a ticket running in the final leg on Maneki Neeko which was 66/1 and three lengths clear having jumped the last only to get collared close home.

yeah I read that in the RP today..FHL indeed.

On the plus side...it wasn't me Smiley..and for him, he got the placer at £407.40 a line

what race were you watching? that didnt happen.

it came up to join the thing in front who already looked to have it won at the last and went on to find more and win comfortably by 3.

what race were you watching? that didnt happen.

it came up to join the thing in front who already looked to have it won at the last and went on to find more and win comfortably by 3.

I saw the rerun afterwards, and to be fair the 66/1 shot jumped into the lead at the last and would have still given the ticket holder a rare thrill Wink

My earlier post although not totally accurate was a far better story

yeah i did sort of clock that, i'm a bit of a spoilsport really!!!
