Thanks for the feedback. This was a pilot programme and it's good to see that there's interest. The title...we are open to suggestions (I quite fancy "Rate My Fry Up", though "Last Of The Summer Whinge" has a ncie ring to it. We could shoot titles with Tikay sliding downhill in a bathtub). We're scheduling a second showing on Saturday at 2030 and 0030 for those who want to catch it or Sky Plus it. More feedback very welcome.

I guess one thing these programmes dont have, or many poker media for that matter, would be more profiles/features/interviews on up and coming internet players. Obviously you get all the big live pros from these events (And thats also what we want to see) but there are lots of UK online players that would be interesting to do features on players ike Moorman, Chufty, Ben Grundy, Fergus, Andrew Feldman etc.

We all know who Durrr is and some of the US online players, about time we had more on homegrown online players?

Yes I agree a feature on Fergus and how the grimming is going lol.

Cameraman would probably go to the bog and come back to find his camera had been sold to a pawnbrokers.

Well done Tikay, Compo and the team. I thought it was excellent.

Just like watching Ant and Dec...

The schedule is absolutely crying out for a home-grown, grass-roots programme presented in an easy going yet informative and entertaining way by well respected knowledgeable professionals.

Two out of three ain't bad....

I enjoyed 'In Poker' very much. Tying it in to Sky Players satellited into big tournaments, as mentioned above, would be a good way of potentially increasing poker room revenue.

Thanks.

As to the idea, as earlier suggested by Ripple, Satelliting players from Sky Poker into Tourneys the Show might cover, that's a whizz idea - I shall send it to Sky Poker post-haste. Though I expect they've seen it on this thread already, & claimed the idea as theirs. Suits, eh?

The reason it's so good is that, the big problem with this type of (proposed) Show is revenue. They COST a lot, but do they generate revenue? In most cases, no, they don't, or, at least, it's hard to prove they do.

Whereas the idea suggested would at least show some evidence of revenue generation linked to the Show.

I know it sounds like "money money money", but it's a fact of life. These Shows have to be paid for, somehow.

Great idea, Ripple & Techno, you will be rewarded in Sky Poker Heaven, I'm sure. Or maybe, shot.

Nowt to do with me, I was just +1ing in my normal, verbose fashion.

Firing squad for Ripple imo.

You nicked Nick's idea?

Well, a good idea is worth nicking.

I believe this is running again at 8.30pm this evening on channel 865, or streaming live via Sky Poker's website.

Greetings from South Beach.
IN POKER will be repeated again tonight (2nd) at 2030 and on Thursday (4th) at 2030.
No Tikay, you do not get a repeat fee.
Ciao.
