I'm normally reluctant to reply at these levels given that I generally play for the price of a big blind, however...

Super tight, so we can rule out 98 hopefully.  In my mind, calling the 4 bet leaves AA, KK too, QQ, JJ, TT (at a push) and AK.    I'd normally lead out, get check raised, call and weep to be shown a set or AA.

I'd lead out for $295-325 and see what happens.

I know what you mean Silo

One of my problems here was that I was playing to large a stack for me to be comfortable.

Normally I will quit a table if I get to 1k plus and start another, especially if there are other big stacks around.

Ok so I lead for full pot $400 and I get shuved on .............is there any way I can now pass?Huh?Huh? ($400 behind into a $1600 pot)

If I had bet less than full pot say $275 could I pass here ? would I want to?

Why did you lead for full pot? Do you normally do this?

As I said I was playing outside my comfort zone and it was pretty much a go away bet!!!!!

2/3 pot would prob be my norm here.

bet even then am I ever passing?

Not that it's relevant now, but is checking behind against such a tight player viable?

From his point of view, you 4 bet and are quite active, you could be doing this with a wide range - you can't have hands all the time right!   Perhaps he sees you on AK or has QQ, perhaps AK himself and thinks you've missed.

I'd call, then puke.  Even when I have the nuts on the flop and I get c/r all in I'm nervous though!

Exceedingly tough spot. Although The Math is a retard. Im really not happy about stacking off here despite it being a 4b pot. I really dont think hes peeling 4bets light even deep given hes pretty bad TAG.

Isn't it quite standard for the villian to flat the 4 bet with AA?

I don't think your beating much here tbh. Anyone check this flop for pot control? I know we may potentially be losing value but I can't see much giving us action on this board that doesn't have us beat already apart from maybe QQ

I really did not like how I played this hand, but at the same time I am not sure what the correct play should have been?

Anyway I call and the villan tables

2 blanks

and happy days..........

4 betting then scratching your head on JT7 is probably not a good idea, chess players think 30 moves ahead, you just need to think 2....
