Lucky Scam or valid tipster

Whilst on a phone conference this morning I received an email giving a tip for a horse race. Now normally i delete these straight away but today, in my phone conference boredom, I placed a bet on the horse.
I'm now £357.50 better off

I've subsequently received a further email asking if I would like more tips. From now on though they wouldn't be free. The cost for this info will be for me to place a bet for the tipster.

I understand all the scams what go on but was wondering if anyone else has had correspondence from BDW Consultants and what there track record was.

Yeah apparently back in the day the tipsters you had to call up done this. Changing the horse each time in the recorded message. this must be the email version.  Good idea i'm sure a few people will fall for it.

I know someone who runs a tipping service, he is pretty clueless about the horses but owns about 4 houses, once a punter stops punting they just send them tips from a 'new' person, its pretty com.
