I sell them. Love it.

You get to meet new people, every day if different.

The money's good too. I don't actually get paid by the company, I just nick stuff from people's houses where I'm demonstrating. Ridic how much money keep in those fake Heinz baked bean tins.

OK, my mother brought one of these years ago.

They are extremely heavy being made of chrome steel, and very noisey.

The 15 horse power engine is so strong it can be used to cut your lawn with the extra attachment

It also comes with a skill saw extra so you can trim an inch off the bottom of your doors after carpet laying.

Another usefull extra is the hair drier attachment, toaster, sandwichmaker and dog grooming brush ( large dogs only )

you cant get a disposable  paper bag so its fun getting the dust out of the cloth bag

Being so heavy its ideal for the elderly , as the stair lift extra works really well

Heres a consumer report

When you buy a Kirby, you get a instruction video to show you the safe way to try to lift it. ( 15 KIlos is heavy )

Its straight back and bend zee knees, and lower gently.

The video also shows the handy power sander attachment , a must for DIY

OK I went to my Mothers house and found the video

This one has power steering, forward and reverse gears, hydraulic front lift and and central locking.

This one also has a powerful front headlight for people who like to vacuum at night in the dark.

Heres Part 1

You working out of the Wombwell office Paul? its just top of our street. My local pub Kg's is just at side of it, you see loads of people coming and going for interviews. One guy had travelled all the way from scarborough, they would'nt tell him on the phone what he would be selling he came out muttering the words " if i'd known it was Kirbys i would'nt have travelled fucking 100 miles" Bad reputation i'd rather sell windows or crack.

My mother used her Kirby twice and put it back in the box , where it still is,  in a cupboard.

She now has an Electrolux upright cleaner £75 made of plastic and very light

The paper dustbags can be brought on the local market 5 for £6

she is very happy

She has never said how much she paid for the Kirby

But says " He was a very nice man "
