Ok i havent converted the hand, but here are the details.

blinds 200/400 ra 25.

Pokerstars $11 R in for $31.

360 left, 270 get paid.

Average stack 18k.

Hero has 22k and    raises to 1050 in the cut off.

Villian on button shoves 8650 - No real HH with villain as just moved tables but has just took a cooler for 20k pot so have presumed a little tilt may occur

Hero should.......................................

Happy with the replys, mat esitting next to me at the time was slarting it saying should just fold, people dont ship light near the bubble etc. My hand crushed most of his range in my opinion, plus im not here to mincash.

Obv he is results orientated as if i won he may have thought different. We then had a side bet that 3 people on here would agree with him before me.

Is it not even close to a fold at any stage? What size stack would he need for us to fold?

i think a more useful question is what hand would we need to have to fold. as in, what's the worse hand we'd call with in this situation. the stack size isn't that important since you dont get many >30bb 3bet shoves so yr hardly ever gonna be in a spot with AQ where someones shipped 40 bigs on you.

I'd be calling AJ+ here, 88+ probably. Not a tourney expert at all btw so dunno what the real pros would say about AT, KQss, 77.

Thanks to both for assistance, i think i would have struggled to call with A10, but will take your advice into consideration next time i face similar spots.

I think you both seem to know what you doing regarding tourneys............................
