Congrats to the Bedis. What time did this finish? One of the reasons I didn't go to the IPO this year (for the first time ever) was that they put the start time of the side events back to 9pm.

This was the midnight turbo which finished at 6am.

Think the 115 sides have been finishing at around the same time

I wouldn't hear the end of it. I'd have to win, no other option makes sense.

This.

You and she get heads up at a major festival side event and of course you chop the money

Equity chop + x % taking into account our vast skill edge I assume you mean?

Congratulations George. Somehow, through the Guinness haze I managned to bink the PLO so have a matching one of those trophies on my mantlepiece.

The IPO must be one of the best festivals in the calendar. I absolutely love it.

You'd have to be some kind of weasel to deliberately let your Mrs win and the same goes if she was to let you win.

It's only poker ffs, play it out with 100% determination to win, slowroll the f**k out of each and take the p**s as much as possible out of the loser.

If you can't play it to win you need to find a new joint pastime.

I like how all the men are arrogant enough to think they can decide who wins.

I wouldn't have played it out if we had got heads up. Might sound cheesy, pathetic or whatever but we are a partnership. What's mine is yours and vice versa.

However if it was against a friend completely different kettle of fish!

A real man lets his Burd come first..

A real poker player probably doesn't get it.

Be careful, one of the poker media guys on here like Barry Carter or AlunB could spin that statement into 'Poker player colludes with wife at Live major final table!'
