Having just got back from the pub I need answers to imortant philisophical questions like this!

For me I like the logical, and psychlogical challenges the game throws up. The game is all about making decisions with the best players making more 'right' decisions.

Hells bells Squirrel, what a question!

I'll have to think about that. It's a whole basket of things. To do justice to a really fiendishly difficult question, I need to stew on it for a bit.

Near the top for me must be the fascination I get from seeing how folks deal with good fortune & adversity. And I like the fact that in tourney poker, it's effectively (except for the juice) a Zero-Sum game. So nobody is taking a cut. And it sates my desire to gamble. And it satisfies my competitive spirit, using brain & money as the weapons. Most of all, though, it's the people I like. Mixing with gamblers & librarians, & crooks & Kings, as they say.

Great question.
