Removing suggested searches from google search box

Gotta send my work Lappie in for an upgrade. How do I get rid of the suggested search option from the google page. eg when I type in the letter B all the previous searches beginning with B come up? Gonna get bollocked for looking at porn websites, no weird porn fortunately phew...
