Wii fit is fun, and if you use it regularly it will work, but in reality interest fades, so i would recommend the gym.

In what way though.........................

You get down your gym and it looks like something out of an eric prydz video, theres latex and arses all over the gaff, you're walikng around with a permentant boner and pretty much want to live there, yet there all these fit birds and you're jumping about huffing and puffing in a vain attempt to get fit/or just look cool with absoloutly no chance of a pull cos you make a particularly funny face when you're jogging and everyone can see your gut when you're doing bench presses!

is norkage in the gyn a pro or a con?

my moobs pecks can testify to this being accurate.

Wii Family Trainer is better exercise, and cheaper. And the multiplayer games are very amusing after only a very little alcohol. Wii fit is good for the balance and yoga type things, but doesn't burn many calories in comparison.

Can't comment on a gym. Never been in one Smiley.

I got a Wii Fit before xmas and I can honestly say if your a lazy bastard like me it is great for getting your fat ass off the settee and actually doing some exercise whereas before I just wouldn't do anything. Once I had been doing it for a few weeks I was motivated to go to the gym which I did until xmas arrived which fked it all up. Once I've moved house shortly I'll be back on it again.

So get the Wii fit to get you started and once you are a bit fitter so will feel like going to the gym and actually the wii fit will be too easy for you but still fun.

Also the best game for a good cardio workout are the boxing games. Do a few star jumps etc in between rounds and after 30 mins of that you will be absolutely knackered.

So the answer is both IMO, your health is probably worth it. I went through a 2 month stretch before xmas in which I wasn't allowed to play poker unless I had done at least 30 mins exercise on that day before playing. Worked for me before xmas arrived, back on it soon.

Just measured my waist and its 2" bigger than I thought it was, I think I will have to get around to both. Wii Fit during the week and the Gym at the weekend.

If you can be bothered to go to the gym, you don't need a wii fit.   I own a wii fit, I can't even be bothered to use that.

I'm too fat.   I must use it, it can be my new years resolution.
