I'm literally doubled over giggling at byrons post. I couldn't actually finish it on the first attempt.

All is now forgiven for the ending on blonde buisness meeting which was a little deus ex machina. Your position as forum comedy genious has been repaired and cemented.

ive been playing fulltime poker now for 4 years. the first 2 where great and things went well. but over this past while ive noticed that i have become lazy and get bored very easily.

i used to play every sport going when in school so was very fit. but this past 4 years has seen me do no excesses at all and live of takeaway food.

so what i am asking is do you think being fit matters for fulltime poker?

I am starting a whole fitness/food schedule from today and even the idea of it has given me a bit of a boost so hopefully my results will improve as they have been dramatically decreasing. i have also booked a few appointments with a dietitian, and also a psychotherapist. I know that sounds a bit extreme but when its your life then i guess you have to take it seriously.

i could go into the aspects of it all a bit further but its 8am and I'm tired lol so what are your thoughts about it and have you any tips

Presuming your psychotherapist knows something about poker? It's pretty quirky...

I went to go see a psychiatric nurse once.

[  ] was useful

[  ] she understood playing poker on the internetz

Of the 60 minute session, she spent ~45 minutes trying to convince me that gambling was wrong.

Pretty tilting seeing as

[  ] I was there to talk about poker

I'm now strangely tempted to go talk to a psychiatirc nurse about poker now. What odds will you give me that I can't turn her into a gambler?

You explained it to her in the wrong way then, Iexplained Poker to my therapist and she caught up really quick, infact she was asking what books to buy and where to play in Glasgow.
