A 6 handed we dealt on a 4th place of £100 so 650/390/260/100
Down to 5 handed. I started final table as short stack as found enough spots and hands to become chip leader at one stage. Image was tight. Opened up as chip leader and lost a race QT to 87 whilst 6 handed. Image is now that I'm opening up my range so I expect to get more action, I also expect shorter stacks not to pull the all in on me anymore if they know I'm probably calling.
Blinds 800/1600, about to go to 1000/2000 in 5 minutes. Avg stack is 28k and I have 28.1. 2 shorties to left, new chip leader in SB and a similar stack in BB.
I open for 3600 UTG with

. I feel this is standard 5 handed on the bubble?
Shorties and SB get out the way, BB (who has previously folded an ace face up to me from BB) smooth calls. He seems to be the best of the remaining players with stronger fundamentals. I think he knows I don't have to have anything here and is defending with a wider range than he would when he was shorter stacked, but we are still roughly evenly stacked he called a pair from BB previously hit a set and won a big pot so small pairs are in his call range here aswell as high cards, suited connectors I'd imagine.

I figure he doesn't have to put me on a hand so I bet 5500 for thin value disguised as a CBet. I'm looking to get called by a Jack or pocket pair but he doesn't take much time in shoving for an extra 19500. I have 19000 exact behind. Folding now and we're going to be in 10BB mode. Sigh and a fold?
