travelling to the States - ESTAs

much as we mocked Mond for paying a tenner for his, I've just found out that from tomorrow there's gonna be a $14 charge for all ESTAs. Anyone planning on going to the states any time soon would be well advised to get one today if they can get on the website (I can't atm) - it'll stay valid for two years.
Apologies if this has been posted elsewhere.

If you have an ESTA from last year will they let you register for a new one even tho' current one is unexpired?
