last year whilst in Vegas i had a really good night in the Bellagio playing 4-8 and 8-16 limit. The following morning i played the horrid $30 freezeout at the Luxor and came in the money and on the walk back to the Bellagio i thought id play some lunchtime 2-4 limit and show the oldies how to play and clean them out!
Suffice to say within 1 hour i had done almost $200 which is not easy playing limit at that level!! However in the course of the game some 70 year old guy had come to Vegas for his 70th and hit a royal in the game. He won $14 from the players but won the jackpot which had been running for a few months and picked up $6,000. From memory though i think he had to sign a paper at the time giving up a fair chunk to the taxman.
He had a good lunchtime that day but for me it was probably the point when i realised that i wasnt the best and couldnt ram and jam every pot!!
