Stability only equals success if you have the best manager ever in British football and unlimited resources.

Surely the correlation is with resources?

I would argue that a sustained term with Mourinho/Ancelotti would have brought more than 8 trophies in 8 years.

Discussing Rafa with a friend I was at WHL with today. He just text me:

Replacing a club legend with someone you hate is ridiculous. We'd never replace someone like hoddle with George Graham.

He makes a good point, although Graham did win the Worthington Cup...

He was a bit unlucky in that his number 2 was denied a work permit immediately after signing but I take your point!
