This was el blondie's departure - "36% blonde Shareholding for Sale"

http://blondepoker.com/forum/index.php?topic=41063.0

Did Jack Reacher buy the shares in the end? Also did he reveal who he was?

No, & no.......

Dennis O'Mahoney purchased them originally, then later, after some jiggery-pokery, Flushy purchased them off Dennis, & hoovered up a few other small shareholdings, including, I think, those of Harry Demetriou. Flushy has around 70% I think, Snoops & Jen 3% each, & I have the rest.

This time next year. Mugs, or what?

The figures in the thread seem way more than I ever expected.

What is the value now do you think?

Why were they so valuable back then? Because of the poker room? Advertising etc?

at the time it was a far bigger concern, the cardroom funded 4 members of staff, updates etc from EPTs etc

it turned out we were in a bad cardroom contract, then fell foul of ipoker's changes and it became a different ball game of survival, sponsorship once we had to leave ipoker. a very stressful time indeed

then of course the poker market changed too, so its altogether different than it was back then

Fair cop, and Tikay gets his 3-5% a year from TFT which is not the worst for an investment portfolio he enjoys Smiley

You could genuinely write a good book based on some of the stuff that has happened in these four virtual walls.

Made some actual friends on this forum.

True words.

I can count among the friends I have made on here my husband and my best friend who was also our bridesmaid Smiley  Also had a blondeite as our MC!

You got married?Huh?? who to when where details please.

Gatso and I got hitched last July Smiley Holdorfold was bridesmaid (along with Hannah) and RobertHM was our MC for the day. A handful of other blondes, past and present, were among the invited guests.

Although Dan no longer posts on the forum and I am a very infrequent visitor thesedays, we certainly owe a lot to this place Smiley
Congrats Both. X

Thanks Mo:) dan and I actually met in person for the first time at the charity game for Reece back at the Western. Quite astonishing all the water thats passed under the bridge since then, but most importantly its been lovely to see Reece growing fitter and healthier and into a fine young man - hope he, you and the rest of yhe family are keeping well x

Wow. Lots of hands dealt since then.

Thought i signed up on day 1, but day 3 aint bad. Must have been busy days 1&2.

Its been emotional.

You must have been Junior Minor 10 years ago.

I do remember you binking at Walsall and what a massive surprise it was for everyone Smiley

Surprise? Bloody miracle, if you ask me. It was Greg's first "big" Tourney, too.

Dave C won it, Greg 2nd, Stu Fox 4th, & Trev Reardon, Henning Gradstad & one Ali Mallu all cashed.

We did a whole Live Update, start to finish, by TEXT.

I was texting it to jbsc7769, as there was no wifi there, & 3g & the like never existed then, so jbsc was doing the Posts. Think I sent over 600 texts, sheesh.

Poker was in it's boom years at the time, & we all sort of had the mood.

every now and then the planets align to create quite spectacularly unlikely happenings.

Wasn't Brian Wilson the bloke that B4Matt and Red-dog told me used to be in The Beach Boys?
