Would be interested in some opinions of this hand please.

It's a FT, 5 handed.

1st has :60k, 2nd 40k, us 35k, player in this hand has approv 20k (BB) at the start of the hand, shortie with 12k.

Blinds are 800/1600

I min raise ,8s , UTG 3.2k, folds to bb who defends, villain has 16k behind

Flop:   (7.2k)

Check and I continuation bet a really small sizing 1789, the villain calls,

Turn:   (10,778)

Check, I bet 3456 villain calls. The pot is 17690 villain has 10932 behind.

River:  .

Check, set player all in he folds.

-----------------------------------------

My thinking, the player had folded twice previously to small continuation bets on dry boards at the FT.

When he calls the flop, I am ahead of a limited number of hands in his range but overall I am behind most hands he'll call flop with.

I felt he might lead Qx, or check jam Qx OTF, just given his stack / blinds.

The turn I decided to keep up the pressure, although I don't expect Q x to fold.

OTR you wouldn't expect Q x to fold, I don't think he had a Q and most likely had 10x, overall I just felt he looked quite weak versus my display of strength and felt he wouldn't want to busto in 5th, but im not to sure, overall could be bad.

i would more likely check back flop due to stack sizes. Villian can check raise all in a lot of his defending range where we can fold the best hand. Turns out in this example villian is bad and looks like he has 10x or a missed draw which they shouldve chk/raised all in on the flop with

I wouldn't cbet flop, not many turns cards are going to be good for us to barrel and stacks are pretty awkward, Q and T flops also tend to hit callers quite hard. Take your sdv instead.
