Broadway festival. The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

The Good

This is by far the longest list; there were so many good things about the Broadway festival

Safe, free parking,

Excellent free buffet

Juice free tournaments

Polite, helpful, hard working staff

Competent dealers

Beautiful surroundings

Plasma screen with useful, up to date, relevant information

1-hour clock and plenty of chips for all competitions

Very “Blonde” friendly. (Special thanks to Bluewolf for all his help)

The Bad

Awfully top-heavy prize structure, 1st prize double that of second, and the minor places very disappointing, amounting to little more than “Money back” for two days hard graft.

The argument was put forward that the regulars like the top-heavy structure, fair enough, but during a festival we are playing for a lot bigger prize pool and the majority of the players have travelled for the occasion and are not regulars
